I think that part of why Shelved is so important to me is just the way it ends with this confident assertion that work will get better. You won't necessarily be doing what you're doing now and it won't necessarily be glamorous but before you know it fifteen years will have passed and you'll be drinking some beers on a beach and it'll all be okay. I really need to believe that right now.
