You have no idea how much I’ve wanted this to happen. Every time Jodi pops up as a guest, I think of you. I’m so overjoyed 🥺
I had the most unexpected surprised when one of my IG friends @raisedbydirewolve got me a session to meet one of my idols, Jodi Benson. Needless to say I was absolutely overwhelmed and delighted with emotions.
I went over and over in my mind what I wanted to ask or say but I knew that the most important thing was letting her know how I felt and how she touched my life. Anything else I could find out if I wanted to but I knew I wanted her to know what she meant to me in my life.
Needless to say I am over the moon.

I spent a hell of a lot of money buying these so here’s a half assed review:
The petite girl is very cute but her body somehow feels flimsy? For the price I paid, I expected the plastic to feel more substantial but she somehow feels too lightweight; like she’s a bootleg of a MTM in the torso and legs if that makes sense?
Anyway, I’ll ignore that I paid almost $60 for her and that she feels like she should have been $20 purely because I felt inspired to do something the second I had her out of the box and redressed her and did a quick repaint.
I also bought the too pretty blond guy and let me tell you, I’ve got some beef with his outfit but I’ll start with the good points. He’s got hair - well done Mattel, you did it! A male doll with real hair. He’s also got pants that fit, and the waist isn’t stretchy.
But now I’ll talk negatives. The material of the pants, I’m sure, is going to crease and flake within a couple of years, rendering them useless. The top is also shapeless and unnecessarily thick and rigid for what it is. I know they know it was a terrible choice because they actually stuck it to his back with glue dots to keep it in place while packaged.
Note to Mattel: if you need to stick something to your doll to make it look aesthetically appealing, maybe it’s not a good choice and you should go back to the drawing board?
The shirt fabric is also prone to shedding and I found myself wiping the doll down several times after handling it dressed, hence me removing both garments and redressing him in this.
He hasn’t been repainted yet so we’ll see if I feel differently about my investment once that’s done but admittedly, I do feel a little meh about him at the moment.
