For a long time, there hadn't really been anyone who had been able to see the signs of an upcoming panic attack, or the overstimulation that could lead to one, when it came to Henry. Philip had been whisked away by their grandmother, and Bea had fallen down her own rabbit hole, so to speak, while their mother had simply VANISHED from their lives.

In their defence, or well...at least somewhat anyway, Henry had learned to hide his true emotions pretty well, both from birth, and then even more so after his father passed away. Pez had eventually managed to get a pretty good read on him, which Henry had been thankful for, but with Alex, it's different. It the way he instantly becomes more alert next to him when Henry just squeezes his hand a little tighter, or stands a little CLOSER to him.

He comes up with an excuse to pull Henry away to an adjacent room, and Henry can TRUST him to do so, even when his ears are ringing from all the noise and his head is hurting from just how hard he's clenching his jaw.

"Sorry. I'm sorry." He finally gets the words out, trying so very hard to focus on calming down his racing heart. "I thought I could...this isn't supposed to be THIS difficult." It's been a while since they've been back in London, and he's trying to avoid it these days anyway, but they're required to take official pictures now that Alex is courting him, and they had spent the whole morning being dolled up, always someone around to tug on their clothes and hair, and it had taken SO MUCH EFFORT to not just recoil from the touch. "Sorry...I'm sorry Alex."

Buck likes his life, he really does, but he's also always has been convinced that Maddie is the better sibling out of the two of them. She's kind and caring and she's always looked out for him, especially when he hadn't been able to do it himself.

He lifts his beer and clinks it against Chimney's before taking a sip. "As long as I come in at number 3, I'm good man."

If they really leaned hard into the camaraderie of their profession, there was constantly something to keep themself busy off shift. With a social group stretching across stations, it meant there were constant birthday party invitations and backyard barbecues to attend. Chim didn't always say yes, but he had this time.

It left him and Buck the two odd ones out, the only two from the 118, but alcohol and fun meant it wasn't an issue.

He laughs at the silliness of it all and it fades into a softer, more reflective smile. "Yeah, well, Maddie's my favorite Buckley. And Jee's," Chim adds, never one to ignore the chance to bring up his daughter, "Is the best Buckley-Han around."

It feels GOOD to be missed. It's not like Henry particularly enjoys going back to London for engagements, especially not without Alex, but he does enjoy seeing Bea, and even Pip and his mother to some extend, and being away from Alex makes coming home even sweeter. ( though if he could, he'd always have Alex right there by his side ).

"Mhm..." he hums, a slight smile tugging on the corners of his lips, head dropping back against the wall to give the other man more access to his neck, hands sliding up Alex' arms and sliding into his familiar curls, tugging slightly. "And HOW do you propose I make it up to you, darling?"

   Usually, it’s Alex who enjoys the rough treatment. He allows Henry to use his full royal authority on him and he loves it. Though it’s something they’ll keep between them, cause anyone might try to use that against him. However, he’s always happy to reciprocate if Henry is in the mood and it seems that he might be right now.

   “Hello sweetheart,” Alex said, pressing his mouth to the back of Henry’s neck. “I think that you can imagine that for yourself, can’t you, dear?” He chuckles softly, a hand lowering to Henry’s bottom and squeezing teasingly. “I’m not letting you travel alone to London again,” he said, voice low as he trailing kisses along his neck, under his ear and to the edge of his shoulder that he could get to. “It has been too long to have you away from me. Nate cleans up NICE if he wants to, especially when it's for a job, though if he's being honest then he prefers the hands on missions when they actually go somewhere and get their hands dirty. They will eventually with this mission, but not tonight. Tonight is for gathering information, so that's what they'll do.

"I'm only giving back the COMPLIMENT," he replies with a smile, "And telling the truth." Once quick glance at her then ( the necklace goes with the whole getup perfectly, of course it does ), "Ready?" Nate then adds, offering her his arm.

A small smile graces her features, a hint of mirth sparkling in her dark hues. Ever so earnest, she has never been one to mince words or to spare an ego. Seeing him in a suit is such a sight, Angélique cannot recall the last time she has seen him this clean. Tonight, the two are posing as a couple. Sheldon barely budges when she thwaps his shoulder, and even a small smile graces his lips. There would have been a time when he would have frozen up and sat there, violated that she touched his person but now he almost welcomes her touch.

"It absolutely baffles me, Penny. How you are able to remember all those words for your plays and yet you always forget I don't take tomato on my hamburger." It was his own way of giving her a compliment, awkward as it may be but he was trying his best here. "Are you going to take more acting classes instead of what Leonard wants you to do?
