holy shit, i’ve been off this blog for awhile & come back to 120+ followers — the riverdale rp scene is clearly blowing up!! so i think it’s time i make the small announcement i’ve been meaning to: i think i’ll be waiting until the season ends to come back here. i’ve never rp’d a character who’s show is so new like this & new, fun things on riverdale are popping up every week, faster than i can keep up with it at the moment. for now i’m likely just going to keep watching the show and lurking here. when the season ends then i’ll come back and we can all have tons of fun together ♡

i really want to rewatch the hunger game films, most i’ve only seen once in the theaters. it would be super cute to do some sort of group watch thing too !! the only problem is that i pop on and off my computer so much idk when i’ll be able to sit down and commit to this… probably it will be very late at night and i’d announce it spur of the moment.

▹ There wasn’t anything better than sitting in a corner booth at Pop’s with Betty, a cheeseburger and half finished strawberry milkshake in front of him. It was only slightly dampened by the fact that they were working on geometry homework together. Textbooks filled with formulas and angles and way too many triangles sat in front of them as they studied for an upcoming test. “Come on, let’s take a break from all this.” He needed to get at least a B on it in order to keep his grades from dipping too low and he was pulled off the football field.

Fearful of a kid passing out and the scandal involved of another student’s death at Riverdale High coach kept sending them on water breaks ever half hour. A familiar bouncing ponytail caught his eye and Archie jogged over to his best friend rather than his water bottle. “Betty, hey!” Dressed in her River Vixen’s uniform she really looked the part as she practiced her moves for the game that week. “How’s the squad treating you?”

This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this — please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-” etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy) and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction.

to everyone making posts about how archie is a fuckboy bc of all the women all over him during the pilot let me tell you a few things:
1. he’s an underage boy who’s being taken advantage of. the teacher is a freaking adult who should know better. if, what they did and it seems they are going to keep doing this season, is dicovered she would be arrested because its considered rape. he’s an underage boy. remember that.
2. he has no obligation to return betty’s feelings. just because she likes him, and she’s a nice person and a good friend, and a character i can see myself really loving, it doesnt make him a bad person or a fuckboy if he doesnt return her feelings.
