Quick ref for myself on Atticus’s hair

Notes:

The “pre-Team Star” hair is meant to look like he tried to copy the hairstyle of an anime character he thought was cool (probably a ninja or samurai character), but did it poorly, so it looks messy

I still keep flipping between drawing his hair more like the concept art (shaved) or his in-game model (slicked back), but here I tried to combine them to make something like an undercut… I’m not totally satisfied with it, so I’ll keep experimenting with how I draw him

I wanted to ask: What do you think about the headcanon of Atticus being related to Koga and Janine?

Personally I don't think they're related, but Atticus is definitely a Koga fanboy. He has a poster in his room and everything

Love Team Star so much. Their biggest innovation to pokemon battling is, "What if we jumped this guy?" Their boss music is diegetic. Their costumes are insane because one of them is in the cosplay club. If you beat their first few pokemon, they hit you with a car.
