As an Arab myself and came from an Arab household. I've seen always the news about our very dear Palestine on TVs, on newspapers...like everywhere since my childhood days, we always kept our Palestine in our prayers, we can't help it but cry for all the people there, we feel so helpless seeing them treated like that. The western media lies as always, the thing we see now was happening since 75 years ago. My heart aches for Palestine since I was little when I learned about the Palestinians people sufferings. I really hope that I will witness in my life seeing the dear Palestinians children waking up to the sound of birds and not bombs. I hope someday I will see the Palestinians waking up at morning in their homes, I hope to see the Palestinians living their best life that every human being deserves. I HOPE to see Palestinians treated as human beings with their all rights as every single human on this earth. FREE PALESTINE.

When I think back on the Speak Now album, I get a lump in my throat. I have a feeling it will always be that way, because this period of time was so vibrantly aglow with the last light of the setting sun of my childhood. I made this album, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. I’ve spoken about how I feel like those ages are the most emotionally turbulent ones in a persons life. Maybe when I say that, I’m really just talking about myself.

I always looked at this album as my album, and the lump in my throat expands to a quivering voice as I say this. Thanks to you, dear reader, it finally will be.

I consider this music to be, along with your faith in me, the best thing that’s ever been mine.
