hi i wasn’t sure how to send this… i was in ROR for a bit and i’m unsure if things have changed or been reorganized since then… the server was most definitely not mainly SFW. i am no prude and enjoy spicy talk but several members spoke openly about very sexual things in all channels. i also tried to rp and it was very difficult to integrate into already established friendships but ooc and ic. there were definitely welcoming people but it felt very surface level compared to everyone’s ships which it seemed there were two or three main ones and everyone else and their oc’s were on the back burner. i would love to rejoin if these things have changed and i’m glad the server is thriving, truly!! i’ve been wanting to rp hogwarts legacy so much and ROR is the only 18+ one that’s out there i’m just so worried about rejoining and being ignored again

Deek and his mods have certainly re-structured the server so that and 'NSFW' talk is restricted to the NSFW chat channel. And anything NSFW remotely mentioned in any other channel is always marked with the spoiler tag e.g. fanfic uploads. The server has come a long way since it was first created! We mainly chat in OOC general, and the most 'nsfw' it gets in there is a reference to a characters 'pp', quite literally phrased in that way. Deek apologises if you ever felt like you had trouble integrating, we always make sure to be as inclusive as possible and encourage folks to message the Mods if they ever have any issues. Unfortunately, Mods can't do anything if we are not made aware that anyone is feeling left out (we're not mind readers, as much as we wish we could be). There are quite a few of us where this server is the first place where they have ever RP'd and we have some amazing RP veterans who have helped write up some rules & guidelines to follow. We encourage that all writers/Rp'ers mix things up and have their characters speak to other characters so that they don't get isolated within their own bubbles. Plus, as writers, we always learn new things and new writing styles when interacting with a variety of people instead of the same person. Not long ago we hosted a 'Yule Ball' event to include all characters and to help introduce new ones to other characters that went to the event. It was a good way to bring everyone together We also have an upcoming swimming carnival event to encourage the same thing. We never turn down anyone that asks and make plans to join in with us in RP. We are genuinely very open and encourage folk to communicate...without communication we can only assume folk don't want to join in and we certainly don't want to force people into joining RP if they're not comfortable! As with everything in life, communication is key <3

ROR Roleplay Server

Hi all! You're probably wondering where I disappeared to: and I'm so sorry! I got utterly sucked into a wonderful whirlwind of roleplay, thanks to the brilliant work of @ask-deek and the incredible server she's built to do so.

We're currently keen to open up the server to more humans who would like to roleplay in Hogwarts Legacy!

Features:

RP as you like - short form and long form is accepted!

Many Canon characters still available, but we're highly OC friendly!

18+, but relatively SFW.

Fun events! We have a swimming carnival coming up. You can integrate your characters there

Active every single day, with fun plotlines, letter writing, midjourney fun times, etcetera

Whether you're new to RP or old hat, we can provide guidance on how to do it, building characters, using Tupperbot etc. It's a pretty relaxed environment, but we're here to be helpful.

Although Deek can't control what happens outside the room, Deek will always keep a watchful eye on the room and happily make sure everyone is happy inside it.
