Have you considered a more romantic approach to wooing Daenerys? Singing to her, perhaps? After all, you gave her those charming books of songs and histories of Westeros. I think she finds you a bit serious; it might help your cause to show her your lighter side.

As for singing...I suppose you'd like to hear the Bear and the Maiden Fair or some such nonsense.  As if I've not gotten that before.  I don't sing.  *whee, lies everywhere!*  And I don't really have much of a lighter side, I'm afraid.

Do you prefer the desert or the cold?

No matter where I go, I will always be of the North.  Even whilst I am sweating in the deserts of Essos, winter--the Bay of Ice, the cold of Bear Island--is in my bones.

Yet I would not leave the desert if it meant parting certain company...

So to answer your question, my lady--winter is in my bones, but the desert is in my heart...and I've always chosen my heart, for better or worse.

It has been quite a long time since I've thought of children--that hope died during my second marriage.
