It would be nice if I knew where I was headed, but the further I follow this trail, the more unsure I become. The scent has been slowly getting weaker, and at some point, it's going to dissipate... At that point...

Because that beast attacked the circus... and all of us. And when I came to, my friend was missing. It's the only logical situation. He...

... ... He would never just disappear like that without informing SOMEBODY about where he was headed. Without bringing me along. Nobody knows where he went... he was simply... gone. You'd think he didn't even exist, if pieces and parts of his outfit weren't left laying around at random.

There's no other explanation I can think of. He is not the type to just vanish without a word like that.

Oh, yes! The very best! They aren't the sharpest tool in the shed, but they're a sweetheart! And so strong, too-If they put their mind into it, they could easily win a fight against any of the other members!

Sometimes they like to compare attacks with me, since we're so vastly different from one another. They work in Power, I work in Intelligence.

...I kind of miss their goofy little grin when they show off throwing their disk at Shatter. ...

[They fold back their ears, being silent for an uncomfortably long period of time]

... He... He's a kind, brave, and strong monster. He... is very protective of the group. He would do anything to protect his family...

[They close their eyes, a glow emanating from their translucent 'wings'.]

What other Monsters did you work with? Was one of them the Mū you mentioned?

[Their ears shot back in anger at this even potential accusation.]

No-! Mū-That THING is no Monster like I or my friends, that thing is a beast of untold horror!

That beast wants nothing more than to control and kill. It is soulless.

[Seems that really aggravated them...]

[They try to calm their nerves... Taking slow, deep breaths.]

The monsters I work with... There's five others. We all specialize in our tricks, and all have different trainers to best help us do our tricks. Let's see...

There's Bowwow, they do mainly Strength and Power-oriented tricks and performances. Their main trick is spinning their hallowed Disk on their tail while doing a jaunty little dance-walk. They also flip tree logs, balancing them on their long horns. They don't really have any silly story or plot set up, but they play parts in other's stories a lot as the trouble-maker.

Then there's Shatter... His whole shtick was wanting to go to bed, but every little thing kept waking him up. It's pretty hilarious, kids absolutely ADORE it. Each time he's suddenly woken up, he breaks apart into pieces. Doesn't hurt him any-he's part Kalka, so it's as natural as eating is for him. He can put himself back together with ease too-so it's a funny little 'bit' to make whatever it is seem more serious than it really is.

There's Swiper, she's one of the fastest on the group. She helps set up the next 'story' to play, and does minor entertainment bits while the audience waits. Sometimes she plays parts, but she prefers to not be in the spotlight all the time. She's a sweetheart though!

There's Rainbow... It... uh... I don't really know how to describe what it does. It's whole brand is pure chaos... It gives kids rides on its back and it has a set of thin wings on its back that it hides under a leaf. But honestly it kinda... scares me. It recently have been circling a corner and scratching at the walls, too... I have no idea what its doing but it freaks me out.

Finally, there's...

[They go quiet for a moment... They seem troubled by something.]

... ahem... There's...

Charcoal. He's the ringmaster's. He... ... He's our leader, too. He helps the ringmaster call for the next parts, and takes our parts when we're not feeling well...

He... ... ...

[Something about Charcoal has made them quite upset and they have stopped talking...]

[They perk up and a low, but clearly audible rumbling escapes from them.]

Oh, they were the kindest! I got plenty of treats, I was treated with the utmost request, and I got lots of cuddles and pets! Plus, kids love me and I love giving them rides.

Though, now I wonder... why did you ask that...? Were you simply curious or... did you believe the circus was crude to me for some reason or another?

I don't blame you if you did. Lots of circuses here tend to not be the kindest to their monsters. That's what makes the Orocoro Circus so unique and loved by all. All of the monsters that I work with all love their jobs, as do I.

This will serve as a general guide! This is a Monster Rancher ask blog, and while a few things here and there will be different from the 'classic' storyline, it will be mainly kept the same.

This will follow Gild, who is a Solaraya. This is a combination of Maya/Gali. To those who do not know Monster Rancher monsters, please do some research so you know what to expect! HERE is a website you can use!
