Not the best picture and I’ll probably rearrange it a little bit, but my new statue arrived and she’s massive!

I also finally gave lady Asteria her own area, it’s right next to my bed so it’s a lot easier to pray at

Thought I’d post my daily prayer that I wrote a couple of weeks back. It includes parts to all 3 of Asteria’s aspects (Asteria, Delos, Brizo).

Hear me, O starry one, Asteria of happy name, she who fell to earth in quail form and emerged from water as the far-famed island, she who gave blessed Leto sanctuary and became the nurse of Apollon, O gracious far-seen star. We who wait for the divine dawn to hear her messages, revel in her divinity as we gaze into the starry sky, as when her presence is known we shall see the stars shine brighter. Sea-loving Brizo who aids mariners, watches the offerings of dance, and calms the seas for those she allows. O blessed island of incense, whose domain stretches from the sky to sea, Delos, who's known by the blessed gods of Olympus as the far-seen star of the dark blue earth, may your stars remain bright and watchful over us.

Hey! I'm trying to make an alter candle for lady asteria but I find it hard to find the herbs she likes other than what I know. Right know I know she likes jupiper berries and lavender on her alter. Any other common herbs she would like?

Hey! I’ll be honest and say I don’t use herbs too much in my worship, just because of my cats, but I’ll try my best!

-Chamomile (said to be great for sleeping, which is prime time for some oneiromancy from Lady Asteria)

-Ginger (mainly a personal association, so not really based on anything)

-Cinnamon (more related to her Brizo aspect, related to abundance and success)

I’d recommend finding some personal associations (and I’d love to hear them if you do). I often find when finding associations for her it’s easier to split her into different sections such as change/transformation, protection, abundance and similar things

Asteria, goddess of stars

To me it’s giving more of my time to Lady Asteria, either through research, prayers or daily devotions.

It’s also about sharing info about her, creating prayers and festivals, and adapting my life to honour her (I’ve stopped eating fish, and I try to veil when possible).

It’s different for everyone though, and devoting myself to a god with very little information probably means that I’ve got different tasks (such as creating festivals and sharing info) than someone who is devoted to a well know god.

What does being a devotee of a specific deity mean to you?

I keep wanting to make that step of making myself a Psyche Devotee but then something stops me every time and I don't know what it is. Fear I'm not ready or wanted as much? ,
