For me, I think he’d at least refrain from rolling his eyes, but I’m not his sister. Rolling your eyes at your sibling is like an unwritten law or something. I do miss those breakfasts after a full moon, but I mostly just miss the woman making them. She looks really hot in an apron and who wouldn’t wanna come home to that? You can tell me all about it though I’m sure a lot will go over my head. And good, I’ve always loved it when you read to me. 

Kisses from you are my favorite way to wake up. Okay, good. I know with the two of us, the dogs will get plenty of walks. No, he’s not a fae weasel. Iron doesn’t bother him. Is supernatural though. I forget the real name, Kaden knows. Apparently they’re like super valuable so we’ll keep the fact we have him on the DL. Something about healing and gold, who knows. 

I do what I can. :P Oh, definitely in time for Christmas. We should be outta here by Saturday. Hoping my final grades go up before then so I can snag my transcripts. So yep, literally packing up as we speak. Looks like you’re about to have double of every Taylor Swift album.

By which I mean, yes, he’s pretty much super smart, and I’d appreciate his texts and I won’t annoy him by asking if you’re making cute faces while driving. At least not too much. I really like that I’ll get to make those memories with you and my brother. Cass sounds nice, if she’s your friend. She’s not a fae, is she She’s welcome by any time. I’d like to meet her.

It might be, even if I’m not totally trying to annoy him on purpose. I miss making them for you, and I’m glad you like the aprons. I might’ve gotten another one since moving, so I guess I’ll have to have that on for the first full moon that you’re here. It is more city-like, but we’ll find somewhere for you to go. You’ll be safe. I love reading to you, so this works out well for the both of us.

That makes me feel very happy. Yes, absolutely! Even if I’m not surrounded by fae, I don’t think I can just shut off my need to move. That’s okay. I’m working on being okay with some aspects of this - you’re to credit for all of that, by the way. It’s just fae that I still am not too thrilled about. We’ll keep him secret - at least this time I’ll be keeping a secret for a good reason.

You do well. ;) Oh, good! Do... you need me to call UMWC? They were fond of me, so I could probably threaten convince them to make sure your transcripts are all set and ready. I am absolutely good with that. We’ll be able to stay up together when she announces new albums, now. Also, if you’d like to join a local pick up soccer team, that could be nice. We do make a good team in more than one way. ;)

This is true. When he and I were off and about, back when we left White Crest, I may have sometimes still talked about you and I’m pretty sure he rolled his eyes very very often. Plus, I like living with you. Means I can make you breakfast after the full moon, though I will say this new ‘med-school Athena’ does come with a need to talk about all that she’s learning. I’ll still read you non-medical books.

Bed’s comfier with you in it, too. Plus I like waking up to kisses. Or waking you up with kisses. A very nice way to start the day. My place allows pets, so we’ll be all good. Well, a weasel who sniffs out gold sounds fascinating. It’s not... a fae weasel, is it? I don’t think it is, but I just have to check.

hello! i am on semi hiatus until ~8/3 - i have a new job/fellowship (which is wonderful, but also a Lot of work) and have been dealing with some mental health things - i will be getting to things as quickly as i am able, but i wanted to make a general note for apologies if things are a bit slow. thank you so very much for your patience!

It’s unlike anything I’ve really ever seen before. I honestly wasn’t much of a public forum user until I moved here. Museums are one of my favorite ways to pass the time provided that it’s emptier and when you’re local to some of the well-known ones, it becomes quite easy to know the best times to go. Oh pizza toppings… no controversy, right? I remember a lot of people disliking pineapple on pizza! But, the New Yorker in me has to go with a good slice of pepperoni. It’s greasy, yes, but so satisfying. Though I also am quite partial to mushroom. Vegetable on pizzas used to be one of the only ways I managed to get my youngest sister to eat anything green!

Fantastic! It might be good to also check with the shelter to ensure none of the dogs have any particular allergies.

Baking is a science that requires so much patience and skill. One wrong measurement and I feel as though the whole thing can wrong! That’s so kind of you! I would not say no to that but of course please do not feel the need to go out of your way to do that.

That’s fair. I mean, I prefer Instagram or texting or whatever, but it’s a nice place to talk to and get to know people. Museums are nice - I think my brother would like the history ones. He’s a giant nerd, but he’s really good at history. Well-known - the Met, right? You mentioned that. Museum of Natural History? Oh, I guess people do have strong opinions about that, but I’m just always a curious person, I suppose. I have to admit to liking veggies, so some spinach on pizza? Sounds ideal, honestly. Putting it on to get your sister to eat them sounds smart though!

As guarded as people seem here in White Crest, there really are so many lovely people that I’ve met, especially online. Though, who knows if things would be different if I met any of them in person. I would hope the kindness carried over. I’ve definitely let myself wander aimlessly in museums before especially since I’ve seen many of the exhibits multiple times. And yet, I’m pretty sure I’ve always learned something new with each visit. With pizza, I really think it’s up to personal preference, just like how people are with their preferred pizza toppings.

Wonderful! Well I can send you a private message later today and perhaps we can schedule a time that works for us for this shelter visit. The treats sound like a fantastic idea; a little homemade goodie certainly will win over any dog.

That sounds familiar so it seems very likely that that’s what I had! It looks like a challenge to make so that’s amazing that you’ve done so. And now I’m most definitely developing a craving for some spanakopita.

Yes, there is quite a community online. I have found that meeting people in person can often end well unless they are monsters though of course one should always exercise caution. That sounds like a very nice way to spend your time. I never had the time to do I think that even when one deals with the same sort of thing, be it a book, museum, or even playing soccer (which I do), there is always something to be learned. That is true. What are your favorite toppings?

Yes, I would love that very much! I think treats are a useful way to get to know someone. Besides, what dog doesn’t enjoy some sort of treat? Well, some supernatural ones I would imagine 

I would imagine so, then! I like a challenge in all aspects of my life, so I suppose it’s natural that I gravitate towards baking and cooking projects that are difficult. Well, I could bring some of those for you when we meet, if you’d like?
