This demonstration’s theme will be TPE (Total Power Exchange).  All items you may need for this demonstration will be at the Rotunda when you show up for your assigned time. This weekend (October 3rd-5th) is our third demonstration weekend of the summer semester. Demonstrations are your chance to prove to the directors that you can apply what we have been teaching you in your classes. Each demonstration will last up to 50 minutes, be held in the Rotunda on the second floor and be open for anyone to observe along with our three directors. 

This demonstration’s theme will be TPE (Total Power Exchange). Due to this theme, you will be allowed to pick your own partner. If you are a switch, you can pick anyone from any role. If you are Dominant or submissive, they must be from a different role than yours. If you would like to pick a staff member to be your partner, you may do so. However, staff can only fill in on one demonstration and there will be no trios in this round--no exceptions. 

You must send a message to the program blog with your partner by 8pm (EST) on Thursday, October 2nd. At that time, we will assign partners to those who do not message and will post the schedule for the weekend.

Labor Day Carnival at Augustina: August 30th - September 1st

This year for our Labor Day weekend, the directors of Augustina have splurged a bit and are bringing a small carnival to campus that will be open Saturday through Monday from 10 am until 11pm. The carnival will be located on campus in the large open field back behind the claim cottages. 

Due to the carnival, all classes on Monday will be cancelled and curfew this weekend for both Switch and submissive students will be pushed back to 11:30 pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

All activities, food and rides will be free to students and staff, who will be given a wristband to wear all weekend long so that those running the booths and games will know you have been paid for.

For this assignment, you will need to perform a D/s scene of your choosing, exploring an area of Dominance and submission that you have yet to do. You and your partner must discuss what will happen, what the rules are and there must be a safeword and aftercare in this scene. After you perform the scene, write up an essay explaining your reactions to the scene and how you felt it went.

Minimum Length: Interaction with another character (the scene)—summary scene (300 words—unless decided to write it out, then at least 10 notes). Essay—minimum of 300 words.

CLASS: Photography

Assignment No. 1

Topic: Interactions

For this assignment you will need one partner, either another student in this class or not. You will take a series of photographs of that student in front of any location on campus. Then, when you return, you must write a reflection about the interaction you had with both the landscape or architecture and with the student being photographed. You will be graded on your understanding of communication with the model and interaction with the set.

Minimum Length: Interaction with another character (the photoshoot): 10 notes, 100 words each post. Reflection post: 100 words.

Next weekend (August 22nd-24th) is our second demonstration weekend of the summer semester. Demonstrations are your chance to prove to the directors that you can apply what we have been teaching you in your classes. Each demonstration will last up to 50 minutes, be held in the Rotunda on the second floor and be open for anyone to observe along with our three directors. 

This demonstration’s theme will be up to our faculty to decide for each of you. Every pair has been assigned one staff member who will determine what theme you are to use for your demonstration. The themes will vary from bondage to impact play to pet play or whatever else the staff member chooses to assign. One of the partners in the pair will need to contact their staff member to find out what their theme will be. Then the partners can decide what they will do specifically for the demonstration. We encourage our staff to come to observe the demonstration to see how their pair performs.

The demonstrations will be held all weekend long and below you can find the schedule, your partner assignments and which staff member you have also been assigned to.

Demonstration One Results

We are finally ready to post the results from the first demonstration. There were only a handful we felt like sharing our comments and scores. The rest of you, who do not appear on this list, received a five or less out of ten. We expect better out of you next time around.

Congratulations to Chase Walker, Scarlet Adler and Elizabeth Silver who received the highest marks for this demonstration. As a reward you will be given the afternoon off from classes on Wednesday, August 20th and will be allowed to leave campus. Each of you may bring one guest with you. You must be back to campus by 8pm (CST) in time for curfew. Well done to the three of you.

"A well executed demonstration from the pair of you. While the scene did not call for it, I still would have like the Dominant to ask for the submissive's safe word. Other than that it was a controlled and perfectly acceptable scene."

Name of the Punished: Asher Adler

Administrator of the Punishment: Headmaster Laurent

Offense: Breaking of Curfew

Date and Time of the Punishment: Wednesday, August 13th at 2 pm.

Location of the Punishment: The outside Rotunda

Punishment: 

A public lashing will be performed on Asher Adler for breaking curfew on Monday night. He will receive fifteen lashes from the Headmaster himself, who will not hold back. After, he will be taken to the infirmary to have his wounds treated.

In addition to the lashings, Mr. Adler will not be allowed to have any guests in his room or spend the night in anyone else's room on Tuesday or Wednesday. To assure that this is enforced, a guard will be placed at his door on those nights.

We hope this serves as a warning to anyone who would go against the Academy-wide punishment this week.
