starter for: @nathanial-donovan location: mad dog brewery
Before moving back, Austin was always trying to come as often as could to Tonopah, but the truth was - it was Peyton who was traveling more to Los Angeles to see her old Dad. But it was not as if he was gone.. so now with him being back permanently, it wasn't as if he had to fix all those broken bridges - he still had his friends here, and in a way, he was making new ones as well.. grabbing a beer on his own would often lead to that. And the Mad Dog Brewery was one of Austin's favorite places in town. "Is that so, huh?" The blond chuckled as the bartender was trying to explain him everything that went wrong in the last Super Bowl.. and it was always like that. People still remembered he almost made it to the big league.. that he would be there if it weren't for his injury.. but water under the bridge, no? "I'll keep that on my mind, for sure, man. Just get me another beer." Perhaps it was a part of his past - his football career - but not here.. never here.

starter for: @sullyriley location: two kings casino
As much as he wanted to be around - it was hard. Tonopah was nothing but the newest base for Austin while the majority of his business was still between Los Angeles & New York.. he spent more time in planes than he wanted, but Austin was kind of a control freak.. it was his empire, after all. There was no chance he would let it fall. And as he was sitting at the bar of the Two Kings Casino, he was aware of the fact he never thought he'd bring his business to his hometown.. but look at him now. Look at the man who was a part of the Enterprise.. he didn't choose the Sons nor the Los Santos, but he was chosen to be a part of something much bigger.. "I'll have a scotch. A double one - neat. Thanks." And just as he made his order, he could feel a familiar figure taking a seat by his side. "I was hoping you'd be late, Sully. If only for two or three minutes." To get more time on his own.. which was a rare thing in the world of Austin Hutton.

closed starter: @romanmcnulty location: sweet dreams bakeshop
Sitting at the bakeshop's terrace with his cup of coffee in front of him, Austin was waiting for Peyton. But just like every other teenager, she was late because she really had to hit that one store with her best friend before she meets him. Yet Austin didn't take it to heart - he was glad she was having fun. So he took his time scrolling through his e-mails, making phone calls that couldn't wait.. he wanted to travel as less as possible, but with his business running both in Los Angeles and New York, it was a pure miracle he wasn't on the road at the moment. With that on his mind, he decided to put his phone down on the table and just observe people. It was a much needed change for his sight.. yet the one he didn't expect, but most welcomed was Roman McNulty taking a seat at his table. "See, I've been waiting for a blonde, but she's much smaller than you are, my friend," Austin greeted his long time friend with a grin not wasting time to call down the waiter. It was good to see Roman.. especially knowing what the man's going through. Losing Kate.. it was as if the shadow covered the entire town. Sending flowers for the funeral was the least thing he could have done, but it still pained him he missed the funeral. "By the way, the chocolate cake," the empty plate was taken away just a couple of minutes before, "damn good."

Leaning against the kitchen counter Austin was listening to Blake talking about Lexie. Was there anyone among them whose life wasn't fucked up in some way or another? "I see. Well - if there's anything I can do to help her, Blake, you know I will." But the real guilt was hiding behind those words of his.. Blake almost died because of the Enterprise. All Austin wanted was to protect those he loved - and he almost killed Blake. What kind of man lives with something like that? It was pure luck she survived. The only consoling thought was she didn't know he was a part of it. But for how long could the truth be hidden? It always found the way out. "What a mess," he said more to himself than to Blake, but knew she could hear him. And now Roman was back in the Enterprise.. the hell was about to break loose. "How are you after the festival, Blake? But for real." Yet his ex-girlfriend was a fighter.. the strongest woman he had known. And it was his pure dumb luck she was the mother of his kid. "Yeah, yeah.. I know.." Austin looked through the windows for a moment before he returned his eyes on the blonde. "I still can't believe I'm back for good. I never thought it would happen. Though to be honest, I never thought you'd come back too.. and look at us now. See," he chuckled, "at one point of my life I thought you and I would be somewhere - anywhere else together, but to be back here and not be together.. that never crossed my mind," he laughed as he idly scratched the back of his neck.

Blake shook her head with a soft laugh, “I don’t think you ever have to worry about that Austin.” Even when she’d been so close to Michael and had loved him, she’d always loved Austin more. It was something Blake was incredibly thankful for, it meant that when Michael… left Peyton still had her father. If things had been different and Michael had been who Peyton had thought of as her father, Blake was sure the guilt she carried would have dragged her down years ago. Blake shrugged her shoulders, “She never really let me see but she wasn’t handling what happened to me at the festival well, and then Shepherd was shot, and Katie died… She just wasn’t really in a good space to go. I think she’s planning to reschedule their trip for right after school is over.” She didn’t really know how to respond to his words, on the one hand having him around more would have been great for Peyton, but on the other hand they’d made the effort to make sure that no matter what, no matter where Peyton and Austin could have that father daughter connection even if Austin wasn’t physically present. “You might not have physically been standing right there but you were with us the entire time…but I do know Peyton is happy that you’re here now.”

The annual Easter Egg.. of course. And he forgot about it. But that was the curse of his life - he seemed to forget a lot - especially the things people cared about. It was a pure luck of a rather dumb to never forget one single thing his daughter cared about. "Thanks, Blake. I honestly fear the day Peyton will tell me she's got better plans than to go on a trip with her old dad." It was the only heartbreak he was sure he'd never recover from.. his daughter had him wrapped around her little finger - and she wasn't ever aware of it. Or perhaps she was.. Austin didn't care - Peyton deserved the world and he would do absolutely everything to give it to her. "Why did Lexie had to cancel the trip? Is she okay?" Truth be told, whenever he would come back to Tonopah.. Austin didn't care about anyone other than his daughter, his family, and of course, Blake. To say he was out of the loop.. it would be an understatement in a way.. but look at him now - ready to shake the core of his hometown. "I have been away for too long, Blake. A part of me still questions whether coming back was a good decision.." actually - part of him was questioning whether joining The Enterprise was the good decision.. "but hearing Peyton slamming the doors upstairs while talking to you.." Austin gave his ex-girlfriend a soft smile, "coming back home makes sense. Perhaps I should have done it earlier. Be more by your side.. Peyton and yours." There was no perhaps actually - he should have been there more.

There are days where Blake forgets that they aren’t back in Boston and Peyton, with her hair in pigtails and stomping feet voice yelling out that she was an adult thank you very much… was all of three. Mostly Blake can’t get over how very much like her Peyton is while also being so different. Teenage Blake had been broken and sad and miserable for so long, but spend any time with her and you wouldn’t have noticed. Life of the party, happy, smiling, take no shit, and ready to kick someone’s ass at the drop of a hat. Peyton embodied those aspects of Blake, and unlike Blake they weren’t hiding demons and monsters. On the other hand she also took so much after Lexie that Blake was surprised Shepherd or someone else from the station hadn’t show up at her door yet telling her she’d been caught sneaking in to some broken down building or setting something on fire. On accident of course. Austin’s words being her out of her thoughts, shaking her head she declines, “No I’m good, I’ve got about a million things to go over for court tomorrow.” It was one of the more high profile cases she was working on and she was ready for the whole thing to be over. It had taken up so much of her time recently, and she was looking forward to a long bubble bath, a good book, a cigar and a bottle of whiskey. She tilted her head, usually the Scott family hosted an annual Easter Egg hunt on the ranch for the local kids. “We have plans but if Peyt wanted to go with you that’s fine.” It would get her daughter out of Tonopah, something Blake was more than fine with. “It’s been awhile since she’s gone on a real trip, Lexie had to cancel their now almost yearly trip to Florence so I’m sure she’d love a chance to go somewhere with you.”

starter for: @blakesara location: austin’s glenn estates home
Resting his hands on the kitchen island, Austin chuckled upon hearing the slam of the doors on the upper floor. Peyton. “I still can’t accept she’s not a little girl anymore. I don’t think I ever will. When did she become a teenager? I still see her as that four year old girl I’m trying to teach how to ride a bike, Blake.. and look at her now. All grown up.” Call him melancholic, but Austin did miss those simpler days when his Goldilocks saw him as nothing else but her hero. Back then, there was nothing he could do to disappoint her. Now.. also, it didn’t help to know just how Austin & Blake were at their daughter’s age. The only consoling thought was that they turned out okay. “Anyway, you want a glass of wine? Scotch?” It was still surreal to him to be back in Tonopah for good. Usually he’d come to spend time with Peyton, see his parents and that was it, but more often he’d buy plane tickets so they could come see him in Los Angeles. It was easier that way - well, it was easier for him. Yet now he moved back to spend more time with Peyton.. among other things. “Also, I’ve been meaning to ask you. Do you have any Easter plans with Peyton? I thought of taking her to Hawaii or Bahamas if you aren’t planning anything. Also, if not, you can always join us, Blake.”

Name: Austin Lee Hutton Nicknames: / Gender/Pronouns: Cis-male, he/his Age: 37 Birthday: April 2nd, 1986 Zodiac: Aries Sun Hometown: Tonopah Valley, Nevada Neighborhood: Glenn Estates Time living in Tonopah Valley: A native, but has moved back three months ago Occupation: Owner of the Hutton Construction Co. Gang affiliation: The Enterprise (board member) Sexuality: Heterosexual Positive traits: ambitious, charismatic, persistent Negative traits: workaholic, arrogant, stubborn
Born to Robert and Katherine Hutton, a car dealership owner and an architect, Austin Lee Hutton grew up in Tonopah's Glenn Estates. His childhood.. to cut it short, was perfect. Growing up in the '90s, in the wake of Tim Burton movies, Nirvana & the reign of MTV while still being able to spend most of his time exploring the neighborhood & nearby woods.. his early days were the exact thing Hollywood was making movies about. The only interruption were the occasional trips to see his maternal grandparents in Austin, Texas - and yes, his parents named him after his mother's hometown.
Naturally athletic plus always the one full of energy, there was no sport Austin didn't play.. from hockey to baseball all the way to basketball. In the end, it was football that captured his heart.. and damn, was he good at it. It didn't take him long to become quarterback & the star of the high school team. With success came the ego.. it skyrocketed. Arrogant both on and off the court while as equally ambitious - if not more, he was well aware of just how great he was and he didn't care about anything except the game. Well, he did love to party.. throwing parties at his place was a standard practice after the game. Just as hooking up with random girls was.. yet there was the one who was always shinning the brightest - Blake Scott. The one who was the most beautiful, yet the most frustrating and confusing out of all of them. To say he understood his girlfriend would be a lie.. it was no wonder their fights & break ups & making ups were notorious. One day they were together, the second.. no, scratch that - during the lunch time they would manage to both break up & get back together.
Close to the end of their sophomore year, one of their friends threw a party - a rather typical high school party - loud music, lots of alcohol & drugs, people making out everywhere.. Blake was drunk & high as fuck and as always, she could barely function, while Austin was having beer after beer not even wanting to be around her in that state.. but it is always darkest before the dawn, no? Standing on the porch talking to some girl, it was impossible to miss out the blonde behind the wheel driving off.. Blake. That was not part of the deal.. it was Austin who was suppose to give her a ride or if they were fighting, some of their friends. What the hell was she doing? Not wasting a second, he drove off after her.. to this day Austin still wonders what would have happened if he hadn't. He would never be able to forget seeing her car driving off in the lake.. just as he would never be able to forget how blue those angelic features of hers were when he pulled her out of the water.
That night was the night that changed both of them.. both of them pulled their shit together. And boy, did it do wonders for not just their academic success & football, but for their relationship too. From a couple that was constantly on and off they become a couple who had eyes only for each other. No one else mattered.. it was only Blake he saw. And perhaps it'd always been like that, but he was simply too arrogant to understand it or even more, to accept it. But if you told them two years before that they'd get the roles of the ultimate high school sweethearts, they would have probably just laughed in your face. Yet they became just that.. the golden couple. And with Austin's focus primarily being on Blake & football, it was no wonder he was offered a sports scholarship from Stanford. And that is where their story ends.. perhaps some high school sweethearts get their happy end, but not the ones who dream big.
Stanford was entirely something different.. at first he was one of the stars, yet very soon became the star. Their was something about the way he saw everything happening on the field that would turn him pro, or at least so the head coach thought.. it was just a matter of time when he would get noticed by the Patriots or Cowboys. And despite his flings & affairs, he often wondered how would it be if she was by his side. Would the success be even sweeter? But the fate wanted him to have her by his side sooner than he thought.. it was that damn soccer she loved so much that brought her to Los Angeles - to him. It was only one hello that led them straight to his bedroom.. to become that golden couple once again - if for one night only.
Yet the phone call he got eight months later was one of the sweetest memories of his whole life.. and equally as frightening. Blake was pregnant - with his child.. pushing away the anger of not being told sooner, there was no question he wouldn't be there for both Blake and his daughter.. Peyton. It was she who saved him from himself and the despair he could have easily fallen into. See, during the last game of the season, Austin got badly injured.. there was no game for him, there was no career for him anymore. If it weren't for Peyton, Austin is certain he would have spiraled into the pit of depression drinking away his broken dreams. But because of his Goldilocks, as he called her, Austin pushed away his pain and focused on college, majoring in civil engineering the next year.
He thought about moving to Boston to be close to both of them, but all three of them had their own lives.. so he stayed in Los Angeles quickly getting a well-paid job in one of the best construction companies in the state. With the money he was making and his looks, they young CEO quickly became one of the most eligible bachelors in the city.. it did take quite a while for him to be taken off the market, but it did happen. He got engaged when he was 34, but due to his career and the fact that he would always put Peyton first, they never managed to walk down the aisle.. but as Blake & Peyton moved back to Tonopah Valley, Austin wondered whether should he do the same. Was it enough for both of him and Peyton to travel so much to see each other when he could quite easily be every day with his daughter? For her to be able to run between his and Blake's home? For him to be able to protect her? Perhaps it was a bit too late, but better now than never.
Buying a house in Glenn Estates years before, all Austin needed to take with him was his guitar case.. everything else he needed was already in Tonopah. Besides his company's headquarters in Los Angeles and a branch in New York, another branch of his construction company was opened in Tonopah Valley months before his arrival.. The Enterprise took care of that. Funny, wasn't it? He had always known of the war between the Sons of Silence and Los Santos, but that path was not his to be taken. Yet look at him now.. belonging to the Enterprise. Three years ago - on the verge of his success as his company built the second tallest building in New York - Central Park Tower - he was approached by the Advisor. And how wouldn't he be? A successful multi-millionaire CEO of his own construction company, nothing was standing in his way - literally, only the sky was limit. And the Enterprise.. well, they needed someone just like him to help them build their empire even more. And wasn't precisely that Austin's job? The Enterprise's board member was now more than ready to reshape the look of his hometown as well - it was for the best, after all. And there was nothing really standing in his way.. except of his high school sweetheart and a mother of his child standing on the other side.
