the Mothman cult were a pre-War group. when the bombs fell, they took shelter in a mine previously commandeered by an unknown group, probably the Blackhall cult from Point Lookout. Some left the mine early in disgust.

The rest followed the "First Priestess of the Wood" in her spiritual practices as she performed a number of miracles in the mine. One of these miracles was transforming someone--probably Jeff Lane--into a wooden human creature. Not unlike Harold. The cultists proceeded to care for and worship the wooden humanoid, even as it lost all ability to move or speak.

Deep within an unrelated cave, a single similar wooden humanoid has been created, apparently through some kind of brutal human sacrifice--though there is no actual cultist paraphernalia around, emphasizing that this phenomenon never had anything to do with mothman

The corrupted cultists still aspire to become "Children of the Wood" themselves. They would later be spotted in the robes of Treeminders from Fallout 3, emphasizing their connection to Harold.

I hate that planned obsolescence is starting to reach fandoms. I hate that fandoms are starting to die after two, three years, I hate that whenever you stop getting content that means the fandom will die and be gone.

I need people to stop trying to brush off old interests as being 'cringe' as soon as you lose interest, or worse: make it seem like it's imoral to like something that they themselves held so dear before.

Fandoms are meant to last for years and years, the moment content stops being created is the moment we truly thrive because we keep creating the content ourselves the way we love it and expand on the things that are already there for us.

I don't care if you lost interest on something, it's fine and normal even, but stop trying to blame and make fun of people who still do love the fandom and the content and the things we can create.

Highland cow from Sally 4th Miniatures

I wanted to make the cow more orangey but was having trouble with it. Fortunately highland cattle come in a variety of colors, including brindle.
