It used to be that Corrin fell asleep first and Azura lovingly watched over him as he slept. The roles have reversed.

We’re two weeks out, so here’s a reminder!
Announcing AzurrinWeek2020
Before we delve into the announcement, I would like to sincerely apologize for dropping the ball. As most could guess, this year’s been very hectic and, as a consequence, time has slipped through my fingers and dates and deadlines have been missed time and again.
But no longer! I am now pleased to announced the prompts and dates for AzurrinWeek2020. We will be hosting from Friday, October 23rd through Thursday, October 29th. The prompts are as follows:
10/23: First
10/24: Still
10/25: Echo
10/26: Ripple
10/27: Breathe
10/28: Veil
10/29: Horizon
Again, I would like to offer apologies; this year is really rather slapdash. We don’t have an art banner nor do we have prompt choices. I hope that you all can understand.
Please use the tag AzurrinWeek2020 (either here or on Twitter) so we can find your submissions. As usual, NSFW submissions will be accepted. Submissions that bash any variations on this ship or other ships will be rejected.
Good luck!

Is asking for Azurrin headcanons allowed here? Like, from the Mod? (Different anon, fuck the pedo Anon, they should burn in a fire)
(I agree. Pedophilia is not welcome here. I’m not going to be happy if they try to circumvent my authority)
As for Azurrin HCs, I would prefer to keep this blog focused on the ship week but you are welcome to contact me on my personal blog of AquosEvolved!

Is Mod Prime the only mod active here? And what does he/she/they think about people contacting the other mods?
Yeah, Mod Prime (I’m a guy) is the only actually active mod here. Mod Rose is no longer active in the Azurrin fandom or the Fates fandom in general. I am not in contact with Mod Dawn, so I don’t know what her story is.
As for my stance on contacting the other mods, I don’t have a reason to outright say you shouldn’t, but I get the nagging suspicion that you want to tiptoe around me bringing the Prohibition Hammer down on NSFW Young!Azura content. Either way, I can’t exactly stop you, so do what you will but just know that, since I’m the only active mod, I still have the final say in this matter and I will not be swayed.

What if someone did lewd Smolzura?
Then Mod Prime would manifest in your bedroom at 3 in the morning (local time) to bonk you with a wooden baseball bat and drag your unconscious body to Horny Jail.
(In all seriousness, we would just not reblog/not accept the submission, whichever applies. Pedophilia is not okay, even if it’s fictional.)

What do you not allow people to post art wise? Any boundaries?
Only boundaries are:
Blood/Gore
Ship bashing of any kind
Lewding smolzura
Other than that, everything is fair game.

To Gauge Public Interest - Again
Hello, hello! Mod Prime here to once again gauge public interest in AzurrinWeek!
A lot has changed since our last poll - many are out of classes, the world is entering its 4th month of being in the throes of a pandemic - and the team is once again wanting to poll the public to try to get a feel for what participation in a possible AzurrinWeek2020 would look like. Not only that, but we’re wondering if the late July time frame is now too close to give participants enough time to prepare.
So, if you would all please vote in this straw poll, we would be greatly appreciative.
-The AzurrinWeek Team

Note
It might be viable to migrate this event to Twitter as opposed to tumblr. Most ship weeks (FE and otherwise) as of late are hosted on that platform, and you could attract a new audience as well as new participants. tumblr's traffic has been decreasing as of late as most fandoms are jumping ship for ~reasons~, so it's not that people are uninterested, it's just that they've moved elsewhere. You could try promoting in the weeks leading up to July by reposting artwork created for theprevious years.
That’s a good point, Anon. So, with this in mind, AzurrinWeek is now also on Twitter as @azurrinw! (because Mod Prime is a world-class idiot and forgot to double-check the handle before creating the account)

Voting ends tomorrow. Your opinion matters to us.
To Gauge Public Interest
Hello, everyone. Mod Prime here with an important announcement regarding AzurrinWeek2020.
To start, let’s wind things back a bit. We usually host AzurrinWeek in August but, due to a number of things going on in the lives of our mods last summer, everything lined up for us to completely miss that timeframe. As you know, we tried making up for this with a delayed event early this year.
While public response seemed to be the usual at the outset and in the days following the announcement, when it came time for the event, everything wound up being rather subdued. We’re left wondering why. Is it because we forgot to post regular reminders? Is it because what was supposed to be a 2019 event was delayed into the next year? Is the fandom no longer present?
With all things considered, we’ve decided to play things by ear this time around. As you can guess by this post’s title, we would like to poll the community and see if the amount of feedback we get is enough to warrant putting an AzurrinWeek2020 together. (which is currently tentatively slated for late July)
If you all could vote in this StrawPoll, we would be greatly appreciative.
We look forward to your response -The AzurrinWeek team
