A little harsh, but true

Reason #6749 most of y'all children annoy me

Most of y'all are sleep on the idea of critical thinking as applied issues of racism, inequality, classism, etc. and refuse to train your brains to question dominant ideologies surrounding them. But will jump through hoops to cling to your “people are basically good despite evidence to the contrary and thus we must ignore their mistakes/ let’s assume that people who have said horrible things no longer believe those horrible things because time has passed regardless of the glaring lack of apology or behavior change” all in order to defend your less-than-spectacular faves.

And the reasoning behind it? Not because your fave has personally done anything for you or proved that their behavior was out of character or that they’re sorry for it. But simply because you 1. Find them physically attractive or 2. Consider them more physically attractive than most and thus above reproach.

That’s bullshit and the fact that some of you are old enough for jury duty is terrifying💁🏾

Reason #3 Cont.

So, if you didn’t read Reason #3, you might be a little confused. Well, it was explaining why you should stop obsessing over 5SOS in relation to the ‘fam.’ I just have a little update I’d like to say about that.

So it’s a more or less accepted fact that Bryana Holly is dating Ashton Irwin (at least, I think it is, even though they don’t admit it.) It’s also accepted that a lot of fans don’t like her. Which is fine, whatever, but what I think is reason to take a step back and say, ‘whoa, maybe I don’t want to be associated with these people,’ is that tons of people where talking about egging her.

First of all, if you considered, even for a second, doing this, fuck you. You’re a terrible person. It doesn’t matter who you don’t like, you have absolutely no right to attack someone. Them being famous and you hating them doesn’t justify you being a complete asshole. 

Secondly, if you’re one of the people that automatically thought that was terrible, take a second to consider if you want to be associated with people like that. As I’ve said before, I realize there are tons of fans out there that are super supportive of whatever the boys do, but a group of people is almost never defined by their good members. They’re defined by the assholes.
