Every day I still think about joker... despite me never being here anymore 😭 And by that I mean on Tumblr in general, I've struggled getting back into it tbh fjdhwhdh but maybe I'll draw a little jokey man this week to post here... as a treat. I still have my batman Legos right next to me while I work everyday 🤪❤️✨

Mostly Helluva Boss and Lackadaisy! Those are on hold for now though, as I'm doing a bit of work on an upcoming Disney cartoon! >w<

Tbh, I don't have any current plans to, tho every time I remember it, I still have the urge to complete it. I work professionaly as an animator now and don't have a ton of free time to be working on big projects like that animatic 😭

Hopefully one day tho!! I might completely redo it since my art style has changed so much 😵‍💫

sorry im in my birds of prey x the batman era, but i think it would be so funny to see harley try and get bruce out of his shell by doing various activities with him like:

harley and bruce go down to the boardwalk/carnival and spend the day going on rickety rides and eating corndogs and doing those dorky photobooths. bruce is standing in the same position with the same blank expression the entire time

harley teaches bruce how to roller-skate and is holding his arms like you would with a kid. he looks like hes concentrating very hard on not falling over but is otherwise completely blank

harley takes him to a nightclub and he stands in the middle of the dancefloor while harley dances on/around him. he has his arms crossed and doesnt move the entire time

and at the end of the day bruce drops her off at her apartment and says “thanks, i had a really nice time” and harley says “me too! you’re a really good hang!” and both of them are being completely sincere.

There was gonna be a second panel to this, but I got carried away with the first panel and decided I was too tired to finish the second panel, so you get one finished piece and one bonus lineart that I'm very proud of. Yaaaay!

Maybe one day I'll finally finish the second panel... Soon... maybe... maybe if you guys yell at me enough. 😂

I spent like, a month on this. Proudly drew and coloured/shaded the entire background, too. I don't know why I torture myself with big pieces like this, I'm still way too slow at art for it. Just gotta practice more, I guess! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Popping back on again to confirm that batjokes is still one of my number ones 🥺❤️ I still check out content for it all the time! I just haven't had the time or energy to create it lately, especially with work and being excited abt my new relationship and new friendships and being preoccupied by a couple other fandoms 😭💕💕💕

the reason im so obsessed with the Telltale Batman games is because 

if you TREAT the characters as if you KNOW they are inherently bad, untrustworthy and unworthy of love BECAUSE you know they will eventually become villains

then they DO. Its a prophecy you fulfilled. i knew you were bad, i treated you bad, now youre bad so i was right

BUT

if you DONT. If you treat them like people in need of help, unwell people, sick people who are reaching out to you before they tumble over the edge

then they dONT BECOME THAT PERSON

like, are they still messed up? Yeah. But you fucking STOPPED a MAJOR icon of folklore that represents madness and helplessness and fear from being born, because you WANTED to HELP. And you DID!!

They reached out and you reached BACK!!!

Does it work on EVERY character? No. They dont all reach out to you! Some of them reach their hand out to you as a trick, with a knife behind their back. Its easy to decide the first time it happens that its not worth reaching back, that people dont deserve it

but its NOT. Keep reaching out!! you CAN change things!

Tumblr is just getting less and less usable for me with every update, and I'm also kinda hyper fixating on Rise of the TMNT atm fjdjdjdjd (tho batman media has been and will continue to be one of my fave things, has been since I was about 11!
