Sometimes even Ripp doesn't feel like having a wild afternoon and when Rick was busy learning more skills for work, he fell asleep watching TV just enjoying his fiancé's company.

He only woke up much later, when Rick already left for his night shift. He still hated being all alone in this house and unfamiliar neighbourhood.

Nothing helps brighten the mood like a good whiff from the "bubble blower", though.

Neither Rick or Ripp have a solid cooking skill, but they somehow manage to feed themselves with some simple recipes. Of course they mostly rely on pre-cooked meals and ramen noodles, but it's still better than constantly ordering takeout.

Luckily, they're not struggling financially. Ripp immediately ended up with a promotion and both of them were bringing good money. Also... Rick somehow contributed to his fiancé's performance and helped him earn that promotion.

Ripp wasn't exactly sure what his man did to help him at work, but he still appreciate it and felt a little pampered. He could definitely see himself enjoying this new life alongside his reputable criminal soon-to-be husband.

After a night of woohoo and not enough sleep, Ripp had to crawl off the bed early and get to work. Having a real "adult" job wasn't easy, especially when your lover gets to stay at home.

Rick wasn't going to be lazy, though. He was feeling a little nostalgic about the times Violet tried to get him hooked on sports and even though he still hated it, he could definitely use some more athletic skills for work.

He also made a bold decision to get rid of the old storage shed and transform it into a sauna. He wasn't going to risk using the money printer anyway and both he and Ripp could use a little bit of luxury.

Ripp still couldn't wrap his head around the idea of getting married, but clinging to Rick and having silly conversations about their future plans made it somehow easier to digest.

Rick: Do you think we should change our name after marriage? I'm sure none of us wants to call themselves Grunt and I was never really close to my father, so I don't care about carrying the Contrary legacy.

Ripp: You know? I don't remember my mother or her side of the family that well, but I always thought they had a really cool name - Vandermorgan. If we take it, we could rub it in our parent's faces even harder.

Rick: Really? You want to be married to Fredrick Vandermorgan?

Ripp: Are you kidding me? That sounds metal as fuck! Now I want to marry you even harder!

Rick: If I knew my legal name works on guys like that, I'd use it more often.

Miranda remembered she was friends with Ripp back in her high school part-time job and decided to show up for a late visit. Ripp wasn't very affectionate, but he had to admit he missed having his friends around in this new neighbourhood.

He even made some food for everyone, while Rick and their guest were drowning their adult stress in beer.

Miranda: I can't believe Ripp never introduced us, even though you two knew each other back in high school! I see he's always had a taste for bad boys~

Ripp: Ricky didn't change that much since we've met. Maybe gained some more muscles~

Rick: I want to feel complimented, but instead I feel like a tasty piece of meat.

Miranda didn't stay too long. They had a nice chat and got to know each other, but eventually she started feeling a bit like a third wheel with those two and called her boyfriend to pick her up.

When you're frustrated after your brother's visit and your family trying to interfere in your adult life, go de-stress yourself by becoming a bathroom pirate. Aye aye!

Rick didn't read the room and paid a price for it. It was a painful reminder not to overshare your interests with the people you work with - especially your boss.

He also had to clean up the mess left by all the local stray dogs. They seem to really favour Rick's yard and didn't get the memo he's moved back in.

Ripp had an odd mood for more mature behaviour. Instead of goofing around and possibly waking Rick up, he sat down with some skill textbooks in order to prepare himself for his work.

Another peaceful day interrupted by a family visit. This time Tank showed up to try and reason with his brother. He wasn't trying to defend Buzz, nor did he really understand the whole conflict between them. He just didn't want to see his family fall apart again and lose the brother he only managed to bond with recently. Ripp was a little surprised with Tank's peaceful approach and appreciated it, but he was definitely not going to give in and apologize for his life choices.

Rick might've been confused and thinking he was in an action movie, but it worked out perfectly for him. He ended up with a nice bonus and a promotion.

While he was sleeping after an eventful night shift, Ripp finally decided to skip takeout noodles and cooked something for the first time. The eggs were a little bland, but the satisfaction from doing something "adult" made them taste better.

The irony of John Burb being unable to catch a burglar right in front of him, but somehow sniffing out his neighbour printing our money in his backyard storage is astonishing. Thankfully, he didn't question too much and after confiscating the machine and taking the fee, he left Rick just mildly annoyed instead of arresting him.

In the meantime, Ripp got a phone call from his frustrated father. Buzz tried to confront his son about the incident with Opal, but quickly realized he no longer has the authority to lecture Ripp. He was an adult living in another town, free to do what he wanted, no matter how problematic it may seem to be.

Motivated by spiting his father and step-mother, Ripp finally decided to apply to an actual career. Not that he wanted to be a sell-out with his music, but he couldn't let Rick's job be the only source of income in the house or he'll never hear the end of it from the Grunts.

As happy as he was for their engagement and life together, Rick really couldn't stand how messy Ripp is and started to seriously consider hiring a maid just to keep the house clean. He was just worried a service worker could find out about his criminal background and snitch on him.

Opal: Why are you so determined on destroying this family? You're such a bad influence on my Ricky!

Rick: I feel weirdly loved and in danger right now.

Ripp decided to be a menace and annoy his step-mother further by dropping on the knee and proposing to Rick right in front of her. He knew she still believes this relationship is just a silly rebellious phase, so he was determined to rub it in her face by making it official.

Of course, Rick accepted it. He didn't see (or care about) his mother fuming right behind him and only cared about Ripp actually wanting to push their relationship to the next level.

All the commotion woke Rick up and forced him to step in, before things get ugly. He managed to distract Ripp and separate the two, so he could find out why his mother showed up to throw a fit.

Rick: So let me get this straight - you're here to yell at me for being upset about you secretly dating and then marrying the father of my boyfriend? What do you want, exactly? Kick me out of the house as a punishment?

Opal: Don't be ridiculous, Rick. The house belongs to you, but I would appreciate if you at least told me a word before moving in and changing everything in it. And you could stop with this nonsense about dating Ripp, at this point you're just doing this to spite me.

Rick: I see you've learned nothing and it's still like talking to a wall. Being with Ripp has nothing to do with you. We're lovers.

Even after staying up really late, Ripp still managed to get up fairly early and order another takeout instead of cooking anything.

Unfortunately, this peaceful morning was interrupted by Opal's unannounced visit. As soon as she found out about her son being back in their house, she showed up to confront him.

Opal: What is wrong with you boys? Coming back without even saying a word to your parents like that? Rick didn't even mention moving back into the house!

Ripp: Oh? You mean like how you and my father didn't mention banging each other until after we left to college?

Opal: Excuse me? That's is very inappropriate to say!

Ripp: Screw you! You guys thought it will be fine to make me and Rick stop seeing each other cause you've made us step-bros!

Opal: You were just teenagers with a mild crush! And we didn't even know about you two flirting!

Ripp: And you were just two old people with a mild crush! We had no reason to tell you anything if you flirt in secret, too!

Despite having to leave his boyfriend all alone for the whole night, Rick was oddly happy to go back to work at night shift. He couldn't wait to start making cash for real and seek more power in the criminal career.

Not that Ripp had any ambitious plans for the night. As soon as Rick left, he just fooled around a little by blasting loud music and jumping around the furniture to be a menace to the neighbours.

He fell asleep very late, not long before his boyfriend returned home.

Unlike his boyfriend, Ripp wasn't in a rush to start a career. He knew he wants to play music for real and make it his source of income, but he also didn't want to get burnt out of his passion by making it a chore. For now he just independently produced some music and started gaining notoriety online.

Rick found his old money making machine in the outdoor storage and got back to printing. It wasn't exactly the most efficient way to make big bucks, but there's never too many simoleons one can spend to pamper their sweetheart.

Having the whole house for themselves only was a little too exciting for the two. It didn't matter that their windows were big and people could still easily see what's going on inside. They were here for chaos.

Of course, Rick still had his own ambitions. He returned to his criminal career in hopes of achieving more than he could as a snotty teenager.

Other than that he had no intention to do chores or act in an "adult way". He just wanted to eat takeout, woohoo and play video games in his free time.

Rick: Heh, mom would have a heart attack if she knew we rubbed our naked butts and more all over the couch.
