Hey!

Please do not force a baby into an adult's body. I cannot stress enough how badly you shouldn't force evolve baby Pokémon.

When a baby Pokémon nips, scratches, and can't control their powers, they're usually weak enough to where it doesn't hurt too badly. If you haven't trained that baby to NOT do those things and they're suddenly in a bigger and stronger body? Not good!! You and/or the Pokémon are going to get hurt!

They're also more likely to not listen to you.

Experience and evolutions isn't just how strong you've trained their body to be, it's life and battle experience too!

Please for the love of god let your Pokémon gain some natural experience and control over their body before you make them evolve.

I got a few baby eevees when is it safe to use an evolve stone?

its "safe" to give them an evolution stone at any time, BUT it's typically customary to wait until the eevee is a bit older so that their trainer has a better feel for its personality and what eeveelution would suit it best.

Did you know a zoroark's pearl is manifested upon evolution?

Back in the old days, it was believed that the pearl they wear in their mane was in fact their soul. Stealing the pearl meant the ability to control the zoroark. This legend might've stemmed from the fact that the pearls will break upon the Pokémon's death.

In modern days... we're actually still not really sure what the purpose of the pearls are aside from being a fancy hair piece. They're near impossible to break and are profoundly difficult to do testing on. For one, its been deemed unethical, zoroarks don't willing part with their pearls, and secondly, the mysterious energy it holds is just simply not something anything we've made can understand.

For now, it's magic until we have the science to explain it.

PSA: PLEASE do not give your partner a Luvdisc for Valentine's Day unless you have talked about it in advance, have made the necessary arrangements to support a school of Luvdisc, and are prepared to continue caring for them once the novelty has worn off. Gift Pokémon are always a bad idea unless planned in advance with the person you are gifting them to, and Luvdisc in particular are highly social and become depressed easily when not kept with others of their kind. Very few gifted Luvdisc manage to thrive.

If you wish to participate in this tradition in a more responsible way, many aquariums including the Nimbasa Aquarium offer scheduled couples photoshoots in front of their Luvdisc tanks. At the Nimbasa Aquarium all proceeds go towards the restoration of the tropical reefs where Luvdisc live in the wild.

These zorua kits are mixed with eevee genetics! When they evolve into a zoroark, they can gain eeveelution traits. Because of the dark typing they're more inclined to take after umbreon upon evolving! Since their dad is a sylveon, they can potentially gain a fairy typing and sylveon traits. But really they could take after any of the eeveelutions.

hey, plusle anon again. thanks for your advice. we just went out to get a kennel and while i'm waiting to get a bite checked out, she scurried on in as soon as we got some of her toys and her blanket in there.

i talked with the family too. see, they used to have a raichu that plusle was almost always around, and one of my other siblings had a klink that she liked the company of, the raichu was already pretty old when i originally moved out and the klink sib hasn't come back. i meant to get a lil pichu of my own as soon as i got on my own, but, well. ex with the minun happened first and we see how that turned out.

but they're looking into getting another one--maybe two of them, an older one for the house and a little one to play with the little sibs and now plusle. so yeah, this is the first real long time she's been alone, so maybe that's why she's reacting like this.

thanks again for the help! i'm gonna go get her some good berries on the way home and see if i can't try to talk with her abit before her appointment soon. wish me luck.
