The World Cup has started and is fully underway. We have seen some Suprise teams and some of the world's best teams loose in the opening round of the group stage. We saw Argentina lose their first game of the group stage to Saudi Arabia after going up 1-0 Saudi Arabia came storming back and won the game 2-1 shocking Argentina. We also saw Germany fall to Japan. They also were up 1-0 early in the game and Japan came storming back to win that game as well 2-1. This year's World Cup has definitely not disappointed. The tournament favorites still look like the best teams in the tournament as Brazil and France both won their first-round games quiet easily. The United States opened up the tournament against Wales and tied 1-1 which was disappointing considering they were winning 1-0 for most of the game. They played England in the next game and ended up tying them 0-0 which isn't a bad result, but they looked like the better team. All the United States have to do is beat Iran and they will qualify for the knockout stage. This week has some very interesting and good games being played and it will be interesting to see the outcome of these games.

Rivalry week is one of the best weeks of the year, when all the teams across the country play their rivals. We saw many upsets and a lot of big wins. The biggest one was South Carolina beating Clemson and snapping their forty-home game winning streak. They also beat Clemson for the first time in 7 years and were the first team to beat Clemson in a game that Clemson was winning at halftime in 63 games. South Carolina also has beaten two top 10 teams in back-to-back weeks for the first time in program history. We also saw Oregon State beat Oregon and LSU got knocked off by Texas A&M. LSU was the fifth best team in the country and were already in the SEC championship game, but they needed to beat Texas A&M to keep their college football playoff hopes alive. This was the same way for Clemson they had to beat South Carolina to still have a chance to be in the college football playoff. We also saw MIchigan beat Ohio State pretty badly which a lot of people did not see coming. It is going to be a very interesting week to see what the college football playoff committee does with the rankings

The World Cup is underway as Ecuador beat Qatar today 2-0. Tomorrow there is three games. The United States kick off their World Cup campaign Tomorrow against Wales. This is the first time the United States have been in the World Cup since 2014 as they didn't qualify back in 2018. The United States team is very young this year with a lot of promising stars. The United States best finish ever in the world cup is the quarter finals. I believe this is one of the best United Staes teams we have had in years. I also believe that they will make it out of the group stage this year. England will be a very tough game for the United States but Wales and Iran and two very winnable games. The top 2 teams from every group advance to the round of 32 after the group stage it goes to a knockout stage where it is you win, or you go home.

This week in college football was a crazy weekend. We saw TCU and Michigan win on last second field goals. We also saw Ohio state struggle against Maryland. TCU won on a last second field goal against Baylor. They had no timeouts left and had to rush the field goal unit on to the field to win the game. Michigan was trialing late in the fourth quarter and won on a game winning field goal. Ohio State was also trailing late against Maryland but ended up winning. Tennesse playoffs are done. They got beat badly by South Carolina. South Carolina put up the most points every against a top five team by an unranked team. Spencer Rattler threw 6 touchdowns against Tennesse and ruined their playoff hopes. The College Football playoff committee is going to have some tough decisions on where to rank certain teams this week as many of the top teams in the country didn't win very convincingly or lost yesterday. South Carolina will have to pay a hefty fine for the storming of the field last night.

The FIFA World Cup starts next week. There are many big names missing the tournament this year. This year is a very odd world cup as it is in the winter this year when it is normally over the summer. Many players are missing the tournament because of injuries they have picked up during their club seasons. This is the last World Cup we will see some of the world's biggest stars. This is the last World Cup for Ronaldo and Messi, two of the best players to ever play. There have only been 8 teams to ever win the world cup. Will we see a new team win in this year or will it be a team who was won it before. The last time we saw a new team win the world cup was 2010 when Spain won the world cup that was hosted by South Africa. The world cup only happens every four years and is considered to be the biggest sporting event in the world. Soccer may not be the biggest sport in America but in the majority of the countries around the world it is considered the biggest sport.

This week in college football was a crazy week. We saw a lot of upsets and a lot of very good games this week. We saw Vanderbilt win its first conference game in three years. They snapped a 26-game conference loosing steak and they also beat a ranked opponent for the first time in forever. We also saw TCU beat Texas and they remained undefeated and clinched a berth in the big 12 championship game. We also saw UCLA and Oregon get upset as UCLA lost to Arizona and Oregon lost to Washington. These were two top 10 teams who were fighting for chances to be in the College Football Playoff. We also saw LSU clinch the SEC west and a berth in the conference championship game. Many people counted LSU out after there early season losses, but they came storming back beating Alabama and Ole Miss. The college football playoff committee has a lot of tough decisions to make this week and it's going to be very interesting to see what they do.

The Houston Astros became world champions last night defeating the Phillies 4 to 1. The Astors won three straight games to win the world series. Last year they were defeated by the braves in the world series, so this year was a big redemption story for them. The Houston Astros had one of the best regular seasons in the MLB. they won over 100 regular season games and were one the best teams in the league. The last time the Astros won the World Series was when they were accused, they were cheating. This year's world series means so much more to them because this year they won it fairly. Many people don't like the Astors organization still from when they were caught cheating in 2017 when they won the world series. The Phillies led the series early on winning game one and game three, but the Astros came storming back to win the world series.

This week in college football there was a lot of very good games but nothing as high caliber as Tennesse Georgia. This was the first time two teams met in the regular season where both teams were ranked number 1 in different poles. Tennesse was no match for Georgia as Georgia beat Tennesse pretty comfortably. We also saw undefeated Clemson get beat by an unranked Notre Dame. Alabama was handed it's second loss of the season on a 2-point conversion in overtime against LSU. This week was probably one of the best weeks we will see of college football till the playoffs start. The college football playoff committee has a lot of tough discissions to make on where to rank teams after this week. Georgia will be the unanimous number 1 team in the country while teams like Clemson could drop out of the top 10. What will they do with Tennesse? Tennesse was handed its first loss of the season this past weekend will they drop out of the top four? The committee has a lot to talk about with the new rankings.

the NBA season is in full swing. the season kicked off and many teams have started slow but also other have started fast. there were some big players drafted this year that improved a lot of teams. one team in particular, the Lakers have started very slow. they have 3 of the best players in the league. It seems like these players just don't click well together. They started off the season with zero wins and five losses. The Warriors come in as defending champs. They won their fourth championship with this team. they have created a dynasty over the past few years. many teams with new players and coaches have started off the season very fast and are leading their respective conferences. The NBA has become very competitive recently as it seems that there isn't one team that is better than every other. This makes the NBA a lot better to watch and support. There seems to be many teams this year that could win it all.

Only 6 remaining teams are undefeated left in college football. there are a lot of 1 loss teams. the college football playoff is approaching as there are only 4 weeks left in the season and then conference championships. The college football playoff has a lot of tough decisions to make because some of the undefeated teams have not played many good teams. while on the other hand some 1 loss teams have played a lot of good teams and only loss 1 of those games. many conference championship spots are still up for grabs. Georgia and Tennesse play this weekend. those are two undefeated teams. they play in Athens this weekend. Tennesse is ranked number 3 and Georgia is ranked number 1. Tennesse has beaten Alabama while this is Georgias first top 10 matchup since earlier this season against Oregon. Depending on the outcome of this game the College football playoff will have a lot of tough decisions.

The World Cup is approaching us after over a four year wait it is around a month away. This year's world cup games are being hosted by Quatar, a country in the middle east. The world cup is the most prestigious tournament in the world. All of the world's best players come to one country and compete with their national teams for the world cup trophy. This year is likely the last world cup for two of the world's best ever players, Ronaldo and Messi. Messi of Argentina is coming into the tournament never have winning it, but he did come close in 2014 when he reached the final but ultimately lost the Germany. Ronaldo has never had great team success in the tournament, but he still comes in this year with one of the best teams in the tournament. This year’s World Cup is very unpredictable as there are many teams that have the talent to win it this year. The United States are also back in the tournament after not qualifying for the 2018 tournament. The United States are not expected to go far but they do have a very solid shot to make it out of the group stage and make it to the final 16 teams in the tournament.

This week in college football there were many upsets and outcomes that a lot of people didn’t expect one of these games being Ole Miss getting beat badly by LSU. South Carolina also beat Texas A&M for the first time in school history and became a ranked team for the first time in a while. There were many high scoring games and a lot of weird outcomes for instance Clemson didn’t look up to par this week they were trailing the whole game to a Syracuse team that Clemson was expected to beat by multiple touchdowns. Alabama bounced back this week after a tough loss last week against Tennesse in a game that had over 100 points scored. College football is always an exciting time of the year and a crazy part of the year as well you see many teams that come in as big underdogs and end up beating highly ranked teams. South Carolina did these two weekends ago against Kentucky adding onto a four-game win streak.
