For release January 16, 1970. The 1800E Sports Coupe is the first Volvo with an electronically-controlled fuel injection engine. Introduced to this country today, the 1970 version also features a four-wheel power disc brake system, a new four-speed gearbox with electric overdrive, new instrumentation and a draft-free, flow-through ventilation system. Wider mag-type wheels with radial tires and two new colors - yellow and metallic blue - complete the picture for the 1970, 130 horsepower 1800E sports car.”
