thank you soso much for just like.. making this blog exist.
i’m not an mspec lesbian, but i am a bigender femme transmasc lesbian who is attracted to fictional men in a lesbian way. i’ve gotten my own fair share of demeaning anons on my own blog about my identity. i always come to blogs like yours to cheer me up after doing my near-daily round of deleting harassing asks.
i get really insecure about my identity and these asks do not help. but simply seeing the positivity that these blogs spread makes it ALL go away.
thank you, genuinely. for just spreading positivity !! 🩷
YOU'RE SO SWEET AAAA

Even though I've got a pretty small presence online/am not like a big popular blog I'm not out about being mspec lesbian, (I'm also kinda not out about being a lesbian on Testosterone too lol), because I worry about getting harassed by exclusionists so I'm just popping by to say thanks again for having this blog up, I really appreciate knowing there's folks out there who are supportive of people like me :)
You're welcome! I'm very glad to hear about how having this blog means so much to people

Sometimes I feel like a bad mspec lesbian cause I am one of the few who are into men, granted it's been a while and I haven't been into a cis man in a pretty long time until recently but like... damn ya know? Like damn as in I feel like I'm the only one in this category not damn that I'm attracted to a man.
You're not a bad mspec lesbian anon! There are lots of mspec lesbians who are into men - you're very far from the only one!

This might sound crazy to say but what if we didn't define lesbian solely on manhood. Why do we have to make it all about not being a man or not liking men instead of loving women

The anon hate does not discourage me. I found today's batch humorous, and more importantly, I see the good my blog has done
I've had people change their minds on mspec lesbians because my explanations showed them their ideas of what we are were wrong. I've had people tell me my blog made them happy. I've had people find out they were mspec lesbians. And in my dumb "ceo of bi lesbianism" post I did have responses say I was someone they trusted as a source.
I will never end this blog. The hate cannot discourage me when I know this blog is loved by and helpful to many people. I will not let negativity destroy something good.
If any of you want to you can reply, reblog, or send asks with ways this blog matters to you.

It's the lunian flag! It's an mspec lesbian flag made by the Tumblr user kenochoric (who is now deactivated) and I really like it.

so, here are the next funny statements of exclusionists..))0)
problem 2, 3, 4: lesbophobia, mspecphobia, homophobia historical note: until the 1970s, the word “lesbian” had the same meaning as the current word “sapphic” - the attraction of any non-men to any non-men. without any restrictions. Over time, for political reasons, bisexuality began to be separated from lesbianism. going “back” would, in fact, do great harm to bisexual people and lesbians, whose identities are already quite established.
Moreover, lesbians often experience forced heterosexuality, a phenomenon where a lesbian thinks she is attracted to men when in fact she is not. “mspec lesbianism” is an erasure of the compget experience and the political history of queerness and lesbianism that these labels have lived through.
It is also important to note that lesbianism since the 1970s does not and will never include men for reasons that lesbianism and feminism are historically strongly intertwined. at the time when the term "lesbian" took on its current meaning, it was a political act of refusing male approval. the same is true for mspec identities - they were not separated from the general blurred “lesbian” and “gay” so that the unique experience of mspec people would be erased
/ quote
Okay that's just straight up radfem/TERF shit.
1. "Lesbian" is an orientation, not a fucking political stance. Irreparable harm has been done to the lesbian community when the love of women was decentralized in favor of hating men and refusing men. Even me, a person who isn't attracted to men romantically or sexually, it is not about hating guys! It's about loving girls and loving enbies! My orientation should not be made all about men, even if the way they do it is by centralizing how much I don't like them. My lack of attraction to guys does matter to me as well and I use labels like nomaromantic, demetic, nominromantic, etc. to describe that aspect but being a lesbian is about my love and not the lack of it
Also I fucking love men platonically. I have great male friends, trans and cis. I don't think I could in good faith make my identity about how much I hate men and rejecting them as a political stance when some of the guys in my life are wonderful people.
2. We are not going back. Lesbian separatism, despite all its flaws, would be difficult to reverse, and not worth it. Most mspecs don't identify with lesbian or gay. All we want now is for people to recognize that these are historical identities, that they shouldn't have been erased, and that people who are comfortable using lesbian or gay in a non-exclusive way have a right to.
3. No, mspec lesbians don't erase comphet. Someone who feels comphet enough could label as such because of their comphet, and that would be perfectly valid - using mspec to acknowledge that they are attracted to men and women, and using lesbian to acknowledge that the attraction to men is not quite "real" - but also, mspec lesbians who are genuinely attracted to men have nothing to do with comphet! I have experienced it before and it's... It's not real attraction. It's your brain tricking you into thinking you like someone of the opposite gender because that's what you're "supposed" to do. Mspec lesbians who like dudes? They're probably not experiencing comphet, they actually like men genuinely.
4. You don't get to exclude men from the most well known women-loving-women label when some men are women. Multigender and genderfluid people will always exist.

I wanted to come on here and say this as a gaybian/mspec les/gay rq but like
one of my "friends" (I'm kinda cutting them off slowly) got rlly hostile to my other friend when he said you can be a bi-lesbian. this "friend" also identifies as lesbian btw, but got SOOOOO hostile towards my friend.
they then continued to say it's okay for gays to identify as bi-gays bc they never had a separationist movement against women. but do you know what that's called? MISOGYNY!!! nobody talks about this enough but it's literally misogyny and transphobia to exclude women in any movement!!
u cannot exclude men from any queer movement either. both of them derived from TERFs and I cannot stress that enough.
this friend then continued to hangout at my house last summer when we had a sleep Ober and brought up the fact I was a bi lesbian or something (even tho I was in the closet idk who told this friend and I was upset) and while we were talking they went:
"I wouldn't cut someone off because of their identity"
I think the only reason they didn't cut me off was because they couldn't do it as simply as you'd be able to online. we have a big friend circle at my college and have study sessions. but that's another story cuz I don't talk to most of them due to queerphobia.
Oh I thought I answered this... Oops.
"well they never had a separationist movement" THE SEPARATIONIST MOVEMENT WAS LED BY TERFS. WHY DO YOU WANT TO UPHOLD IT?
Also the "I wouldn't cut someone off from their identity" thing just makes me think of homophobes who think they can still be friends with gay people and wonder why no gays want to be their friend. You can't... You can't take a stance against the way a person is and then expect to stay friends or get along-
Anon please finish cutting this "friend" off, you don't need that shit in your life.
