Those Creature Comfort shorts from Aardman... what is it about them. They're just excerpts from candid conversations between normal people that they decide to animate being said by various animals. It's such a simple concept, such an easily replicable concept, a concept that could be very easily fumbled and turn out boring... And yet? Aardman? You did what you said you were gonna do. These little animated vignettes are Hella comfortable. And also Hella creatures

My Muppet Princess Bride drawings found their way to Facebook and from that came a ton of good suggestions for scenes. Rizzo as a R.O.U.S. has been suggested by a lot of different folks for as long as I've been doing these drawings, but I was never quite sure how to handle the scene until a commenter suggested Rizzo's line. Maybe it resonated with me because I can kinda relate to Rizzo in this moment (especially so soon after Valentines Day!). Thanks to Paul Adams who provided Rizzo's line, and gave me permission to use it in this drawing.

And shout-out to movie-screencaps.com for providing the backgrounds, I like to edit shots from the movie for my backgrounds because it allows me to focus on the fun part of drawing Muppets. There's also just something fun about 'painting' the Muppets into the actual film.

Weird problem: I have hypermobility so basically dislocating things doesn't hurt but can cause pain over time. A friend recently pointed out to me that one of the ways I sit down makes it 'look like my leg is broken' because the knee bends kind of sideways? Except now I've been doing that for so long that sitting like that is a habit. So I have to stop.

Shearing half a sheep seemed a simple way to show a season's growth of wool, but photographer Cary Wolinsky was wrong. The half-shorn sheep tended to lose their balance and topple to wool-ward. It took many tries before merino sheep number 30 “became our hero," Wolinsky said.

i thought my laptop was on its last leg because it was running at six billion degrees and using 100% disk space at all times and then i turned off shadows and some other windows effects and it was immediately cured. i just did the same to my roommate's computer and its performance issues were also immediately cured. okay. i guess.

so i guess if you have creaky freezy windows 10/11 try searching "advanced system settings", go to performance settings, and uncheck "show shadows under windows" and anything else you don't want. hope that helps someone else.
