The other member of the band includes Maria Hill, who revealed that she is happily married to a mystery woman.

You’re married? 

MH: Yes, I’ve been married for almost 10 years now and no, I’m telling anyone her name.

Do you like her wife? Without revealing any details about her, what is she like?

CD: She’s a pain in the ass. [laughs] But, I love her; she’s like a little sister to me.

MR: Maria’s wife is great. She’s a troublemaker like Carol here, so it’s chaos when they’re together. I don’t know how Maria and I put up with them.

CD: We aren’t that bad!

MH: You once pranked the entire studio with glitter and confetti. The confetti was easy to get up, but the mic was sparkly for 3 months! 

In one interview, Carol said she writes songs about Maria [Rambeau] and vice versa. Which songs were written about who?

CD: It was a spur of the moment song. I had just been thinking of how we were nearing our 10 year anniversary and Maria never fails to give me butterflies, even now. So, I went to Maria [Hill] who helped me finish writing and producing. After she finished laughing at me. 

MH: You were shaking like a chihuahua and you were so nervous. I should’ve taken a picture. 

CD: It’s not funny, Hill. I hadn’t been that nervous since my wedding day. 

MH: It was a great song, you should be thanking me. 

MR: Anyway, The Shining, the 3rd song on our new album, was written for Carol. Maria’s wife actually helped me with it. She even helped compose parts of the song. 

MH: She did? She never told me that.  

Maria [Hill] have you written any songs about your wife?

MH: I’ve written a lot of songs about my wife, she’s my muse after all, but our recent song Trouble is about her.

Why did you name it Trouble?

MH: No real reason, I just happened to enjoy the title and like Maria [Rambeau] said she is a troublemaker.

Your 4th album Fury of the Gods is currently doing well on the charts? Trouble is number 2 and The Shining is number 4. How does that feel?

MR: It feels amazing. This isn’t our first album to do well, but so much goes into them that we appreciate everything our fans do to make them do that well.

Your 2nd tour starts soon, is it going to be international or only domestic?

CD: It’s going to be international. We’re going to start in Maria [Rambeau] and I’s home town of Louisiana and end in Maria’s hometown of Chicago. 

What can fans expect from the tour? Any surprises or new music?

MH: Both. I have a big surprise planned at the end of the tour. 

Could you elaborate?

MH: Nope.

MR: [laughing] You’re not going to get anything out of her. She’s like a vault. 

Your fans have often stated that you 3 are lesbian icons and being in mainstream media has helped them be comfortable with themselves. How does it feel to know that? 

MR: There weren’t many people who looked like me in the media, let alone were lesbians too. When I get letters from fans and or meet them, they always thank me for making them feel seen, and I realize I’m the role model I never had. 

CD: When I grew up, there weren’t any lesbians to look up too, so I’m happy to be the person I never had.

MH: Like Carol said, she’s happy to the person she never had and so am I. I didn’t grow up with a supportive family, so if I can be one person’s support system, then I’ll be that.

When you hear the phrase ‘Russian Roulette’ you may think of the deadly game played with a gun; but if you’re a music fan you think of the Eastern European band. The band composed of Russian sisters Natalia ‘Natasha’ Romanoff and Yelena Belova, and Sokovian native Wanda Maximoff are signed to Avengers Inc. These 3 queer women (Natasha is a lesbian, Wanda is pansexual, and Yelena is an asexual lesbian) dropped their 3rd album Melodrama on Friday and fans are obsessed.

Band Members Wanda Maximoff and Yelena Belova are in a relationship and have been for 5 years. The couple recently got engaged. Natasha’s relationship status is unknown. 

“So, Wanda, Yelena, who proposed to who?”

WM: Yelena actually proposed with an acoustic version of Everything I Wanted. This was before anyone aside from her and Natasha had heard it, so I was shocked to say the least. [laughs] I cried like a baby. 

That sounds beautiful. Yelena, what was the inspiration behind the song?

YB: I had this recurring dream — it was a nightmare really — that Wanda would one day leave me. Her leaving was a thought that was always in the back of my head, especially after I came out as asexual. However, the reality was completely different. Wanda was so accepting of it and even did research to get a better understanding of what asexuality was and how to navigate our relationship. The song was an expression of how I had been feeling at the time. 

Natasha, the song Cinnamon Girl is on this album. In previous interviews, you said the song would remain unreleased. What changed your mind?

NR: It felt right. I was finally ready to let it go and share it with the world.

What was the inspiration behind the song?

NR: When I wrote Cinnamon Girl, I was healing from a bad relationship that had happened 2 years prior. I had also been in a relationship for 5 months with the woman I’m currently married to. At the time, she didn't know many details of that relationship, just how it affected me, but she was so patient and loving and it was new to me. I didn't know how to express my feelings, so I wrote them in a song which she heard me playing. I opened up to her that night and a few days later, she helped me finish it. 

How long have you been married?

NR: Since 2013, and that’s all I’m saying on the matter.

Natasha, Lesbian Fury singer Maria Hill recently revealed she’s married. Many fans have speculated that since you run in the same

circles, that you’re her wife. What do you have to say to that?

NR: My wife’s gonna be pissed. [laughs] However, I will say that Maria Hill would be lucky to have me as her wife. 

Melodrama came out Friday and so far the top 3 favorites from fans have been Sober II, Sorry, and Love in the Dark. What are your favorites from the album?

YB: Coming Down. I rarely say this because she gets a big head about it, but Natasha is an excellent song writer and Coming Down is some of her best work. Which isn’t surprising considering she wrote it about her wife and Natalia always writes the best songs about her. 

NR: That is the nicest thing you’ve said about me all week.

WM: Supercut. I just love it. And I think it’s beautiful. I’m actually the one who picked it for the album because it’s my favorite. 

NR: Simple, Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince. 

Can we expect a tour soon? 

YB: You’ll just have to wait and see. 

Your fans have talked about how you’re all so inspiring to them and how being unapologetically yourselves has helped them; what do you have to say to that?

WM: Honestly, if we can help even one person feel like themselves, then it’s worth it. I love knowing that our music and personalities help others.

YB: When I was figuring out my sexuality, Natasha was the only one who knew and even then, I was scared to tell her. She helped me come to terms with myself and if I happen to be the person that they need, then I’ll be that.

NR: Everyone needs someone and if we’re not able to reply to all the fans, or see them in person; knowing that we’re able to reach all of them is everything I’ve dreamed of. 

Maria walked into her and Natasha’s house exhausted. She loved her job but it could be tiring with all the press and media. It’s even worse because she can’t be seen with Nat out in public so they haven’t been able to have much time together even though they were at the same place at the same time. She left her suitcase by the door, she’d get it later. Right now, she just wants to be with her wife while she can. 

”Nat, you home?” she called out into the quiet house. Natasha was supposed to be home before she was. 

“Upstairs!” Natasha called back. Maria ran up the stairs, taking two at a time. She finally got to their room and saw Natasha lying on the bed watching a movie. 

“Mia!” Nat exclaimed when Maria jumped on her. “I haven’t seen you in almost 2 months, you’ll be okay.” Maria mumbled against her neck. Natasha smiled softly and ran her fingers through dark locks. “I missed you too.” 

“C’mon, I have a surprise for you.” Natasha said after a few minutes. Maria sat up and allowed Nat to get up. Natasha held out her hand for Maria to take and led her to the bathroom. There was a bubble bath drawn and Maria’s favorite candle was lit. “We haven’t had any us time and I thought this would be perfect.” Natasha smiled sweetly. They took their clothes off and Maria got in first and Nat said in her lap.

“I love you. And I feel like without our jobs we don’t see each other enough, so I don’t get to say it in person as much as I want to; but I love you with all my heart.” Maria whispered to Nat. Natasha blushed, a soft smile on her face. “I love you too and I’ve been thinking…I want to announce our relationship. Our 10 year anniversary is coming up and I think it’d be perfect.” Natasha was kind of nervous about Maria’s reaction. When they decided to go to their respective bands, they made the decision to not talk about their relationship for privacy reasons. Now, they don’t really care. They have such little privacy already being celebrities, the only difference is, they’d actually be able to be seen together. 

“I think we should and I have the perfect idea. Maria, Carol, and I have been working on a song and we wanted a feature on it. I think you’d be perfect for it, especially because I wrote it about you. We’re going to perform it for the first time at the end of our tour, which would give us more than enough time to get everything set. What do you say?” Maria explained. She had been thinking about this for a while and couldn’t decide how to bring up the topic to Natasha and was happy she was able to do it in person. 

Natasha turned a little so she was facing Maria. “I think it’s perfect. The fans aren’t gonna know what hit them.” She smiled before giving Maria a kiss. 

Tonight, they would enjoy the peace and quiet they had right now as a couple cause in 2 months, that peace and quiet would be gone.

two sick hills

summary: maria and ana get sick, nat cares for them.

Maria groaned as she woke up. His head was pounding, his nose was stuffy, and he felt hotter than usual. He was unable to control the noises of pain that left his body as she tried to turn over to get comfortable. The noises woke Natasha up who grew concerned the more she heard Maria’s discomfort.

“Ria, what’s the matter?” Nat’s voice is groggy but filled with concern. She didn’t get a verbal answer, just a whimper from Maria from the aches that radiated through him. Natasha flipped on the lamp and took a good look at her wife. He was sweating, her breathing ragged, and her nose was red.

“моя любовь, you’re sick. Why didn't you wake me up?” Natasha put a hand to his forehead to try and feel how hot he was. “Let me get the thermometer and make you some tea.” Natasha didn’t wait for a response, just went downstairs to make the tea.

Natasha finds the adult thermometer in the drawer then makes Maria’s favorite tea for when she’s sick; lemon. It always helps Maria feel better faster. She checks the clock on the wall; 6:39. Nat went back to their room and set the tea and thermometer on Maria’s side of the bed. Maria seemed to have drifted back to sleep and Nat hated to wake him, but she needed to check her temperature.

“Baby, wake up.” Natasha said soothingly. Maria grumbled but didn’t wake up. “Come on, baby. I need to check your temperature.” Maria finally opened her eyes and the frown on her face made Natasha smile softly. “Thank you, baby.” She put the thermometer in Maria’s mouth and went to lay on her side when they heard Ana crying. Maria started to get up, but Nat pushed her back down. “Don’t you even think about getting up. I’ll go check on her.”

Walking into Ana’s room, Natasha found her daughter on her bed, holding her black cat plushie with tears streaming down her face. Liho was nudging her head with Ana’s hand trying but failing to comfort the girl. “маленький, it’s okay. Mommy’s here.” Nat whispered, picking her up. The toddler clung to her mother, calming down quickly. “Icky, mommy.” Anastasia croaked out. “You don’t feel good?” Natasha frowned. Ana shook her head no. “Okay, let’s get your thermometer and some water then we can go to Mama.”

Heading downstairs, Natasha moved quickly grabbing Ana’s black widow sippy cup and pouring some water in it. “Here you go, detka.” She handed the cup to the girl, and made sure she had the thermometer before going back to her and Maria’s room.

“Is she okay?” Was the first thing Maria asked when she entered the room. He was sitting against the headboard with the mug in his hands. “She’s okay, she’s sick too. I’m going to take her temperature and if it’s not high, then we can just monitor her here. What was your temperature?” Nat laid Ana in the middle of their bed and she instantly cuddled into Maria’s side.

“100.2. Let me take her temperature.” Maria said. Natasha handed her the contactless thermometer and watched as Maria held it over Ana’s forehead. “99.7.” Maria reported after it beeped. “That’s not too bad. Which means that right now we need to be worried about getting your fever down.” Natasha told her. Maria ran her fingers through their daughters’ red locks. “I can wait. I’m more worried about her.”

“I’m worried about her too, but I’m also worried about you. You’re going to try and neglect your needs to take care of her, and I’m not gonna allow that.” Natasha insisted. Maria always put herself last and even though they’ve been together so long; it still bothered Natasha.

“I know, I’m sorry. It’s just easier to take care of other people than myself.” Maria sighed. Nat reached a hand to run through Maria’s hair, “I’m not saying you can’t take care of her, just remember you’re sick too.” Natasha reassured him.

“I’m going to the store to get you guys some medicine. Get some rest. I love you.” Nat blew a kiss but Maria had already drifted back to sleep, so she got ready and left as quietly as she could.

When Maria woke up again, it was because someone was poking her cheek. He opened his eyes to see blue eyes identical to hers. “Hi little one.” Her voice was tired, but he was happy to see her daughter. “Mama, hot.” Ana whined. Maria finally woke up more to take a good look at his daughter; she was sweating. Probably from her fever. He thought to himself. “Let’s get you a shower to cool down.” Maria knew her daughter would only become more irritable as the day went on so she tried to minimize it as fast as possible.

He turned on a cartoon for Ana, then got out of bed to start the shower. She made sure the water was warm so Ana wouldn’t be too hot and too cold. When Maria called Anastasia in for her shower, all she got was a whine in response, so she went to grab her. Maria took Ana’s dirty clothes and put them in the hamper, before putting Anastasia in the shower. “You get in too?” It seemed like a question, but Maria knew it was a statement. She wasn’t planning on taking a shower with Ana right now, but he could never deny his daughter anything. “Of course I’ll get in sweetheart.” So Maria got undressed and got in the shower too.

Once their shower was over, Maria put them in their most comfortable clothes — black widow pajamas Nat got them as a present — before going down to the kitchen to find something to eat. She opened the cabinets and saw they had chicken noodle soup, which was great for colds and Ana liked it. While they were waiting on the soup, Maria picked up the book she had been reading the day before and read to Ana for a while…until she got a headache and had to stop being she made herself worse. The soup was good and Anastasia already seems to be getting less pale.

“I think it’s time for a nap.” Maria cooed to Anastasia who had yawned and laid her head on Maria’s chest. So, she refilled Ana’s sippy cup with water and went back to her and Natasha’s room. Anastasia had fallen asleep quickly so Maria put her down carefully, black cat plushie in her arms. The second Maria’s head hit the pillow, he fell asleep.

When Natasha finally got back from the store, she tried to be as quiet as possible. Maria was a light sleeper and would wake up at any sound, but Natasha was a widow, stealth was her specialty. She walked up to their room before stopping in the doorway. Maria and Ana were curled up together wearing matching pajamas. Nat took her phone and took a picture, smiling softly as she did.

"Mom! Мама!” the squeals rang through the house and almost had Natasha and Maria falling out of bed with shock.

“Not screams. Not injured,” Maria groaned, her voice full of sleep.

Natasha rolled over and looked at the clock on her bedside table, “Two in the morning.”

“It’s your turn,” Maria mumbled into the pillow that she had buried her head under.

Natasha lay down next to her lifting the pillow, “They’re eleven and nine, we haven’t done turns in seven years.”

“Last time,” Maria snatched the pillow from Natasha, hugging it to her chest, “Lexi was five and she had that vomiting bug, I handled it.”

She groaned, she knew her wife was completely right, “Fuck you,” she whispered, leaning over and pressing a kiss to her lips before she got out of bed.

nick fury is not a matchmaker, he is a very tired boss who wants his two best agents to be able to focus on missions and in meetings and not constantly pining over each other

aka the one where an exasperated nick fury tries is absolute hardest to set maria and natasha up

Nick Fury, a matchmaker. He’d sunk to his lowest point. Worst of all, he was shit at it. Absolutely fucking terrible.

He had wasted the last three months trying to get his deputy with one of his agents. It was honestly something that he’d never thought he’d do in his life but he needed her to be less distracted by pining over the Russian. It had been over a year of both of them being hopelessly distracted every time they were in a room together or, for the last nine months, anytime the other’s name was mentioned. They were two of his best agents and he needed them back so he tried to get them together.

He’d started by sending them on missions together. Actual missions just not serious ones because they were both oblivious messes when they were together. He sent them on three missions together where he ‘accidentally’ booked them only one bed but, on the first two missions, Maria always came back with a bad back from having slept on the floor. The third time, he booked them into the smallest room on the planet with just one bed so they had no choice but to share and they came back acting awkward around each other.

Late Signs Up Are Open

Let me start this off by apologizing about the delay in posting this. We’re a couple of days behind with this but everything is ready for the late sign ups now.

You can still sign up for the bingo event here! However, please keep in mind that late sign ups do not have the option of customizable cards. Handouts continue to depend on mod capacity so please be patient.
