I had the honor of seeing Logic perform live for the 7th time this past Friday, May 2nd. It is a day, along with all of the others, that I will never forget. 7 times...isn't that wild!!! I could never miss a show. Logic is without a doubt the most humble artist out there. His music makes me feel a way no artist ever could. His performances never cease to amaze me. Living in the state he is from is an honor. He represents Maryland to the fullest and always puts on a great show while he's home. I was privileged to be front row at this Krewella show after waiting in line since 11 AM just to see my favorite artist, Sir Robert Bryson Hall II. I was in awe as I always am when he walked onto the stage. When I see him perform it is as if I have no troubles. I am genuinely happy. His set was incredible (of course) performing songs old and new. The crowd really showed him a lot of love, myself singing a long to every word. It made me incredibly happy when he pointed at me when the line "If a shawty like my music then she a BobbySoxer" came on in "All I Do." Logic is like no other. No artist could ever compare to him. He and his music mean the world to me. Seeing him progress throughout the past couple of years has been an honor. I first saw him at his free show at the University of Maryland College Park in 2012 and since then his whole life has changed: getting millions of views on YouTube, becoming a XXL Freshman, touring with Cudi, selling out the Fillmore...etc. I already cannot wait to see him again this summer. I mean I always look forward to seeing him but this summer is a tour like never before. The While You Wait Tour and EP are going to be amazing but I must admit, what I am looking forward to the most is his Debut Album. I know it is going to be spectacular. I am so excited to walk into the store and actually be able to purchase his music. It's something I've been wanting to do for the longest time. Watching Logic's journey has been amazing, but the best is yet to come! I will always be supporting Logic and the Rattpack. They are an amazing group of people that have made a huge impact on my life. If you're reading this, Logic, I would just like to thank you for everything you've done for me and thank you for the music most of all. You are a true inspiration to me and remind me that the sky is never the limit. Thank you for inspiring me to chase my dreams. I'll be a BobbySoxer till the day I die. See you next time.
