Nightwing #89 is an absolute joy with its flashback of Dick meeting Jon for the first time and Clark and Bruce discuss worrying about their sons. Such a perfect example of how Dick combines the best of Clark and Bruce–that panel of him pulling off Bruce’s mask so they won’t scare Jon more!

And the kicker that made me laugh out loud with delight: I assumed that maybe Nightwing had pulled some slight of hand to pretend the lollipop came from Bruce’s belt, but then…

He carries lollipops in his utility belt to give to scared children! Look at Clark’s fond smile and Bruce’s little glower there; they’re the absolute best.

MORAL ALIGNMENT TEST

People who are Neutral Good are guided by their conscience and typically act altruistically, with only secondary regard for whether their actions are lawful or in line with cultural expectations or traditions. Neutral Good individuals have no problems with what is lawful as such, and nor are they rebels by nature, but they believe in furthering kindness and good deeds through whatever means seem necessary to them.
