This show is delivering ALL the goods that True Detective: North Country didn’t. The writing is so much better. I didn’t hate North Country by any means, but I was frustrated that so many things were added in by the writer that (she reportedly said) didn’t have anything to do with the story, they were simply added out of homage to previous series. I might feel differently at the end of Under The Bridge, but for right now, the first three episodes have shown some good storytelling.
