Updated Roles - 06/29/2023

Hi everyone! Here’s the whole mod team, just to explain some reasoning behind our current cast choices/decisions!!!

We are adding Broadway June, Calliope, Caliborn/Lord English and Doc Scratch because they weren’t exactly important characters in Homestuck yet during the original Broadwaystuck run (June didn’t even exist!) and they proved to be essential characters at the end of the story. That’s why we have these four new roles, to account for hindsight over the original Broadwaystuck :}

Now let’s talk open roles, shall we? Currently John Egbert and Caliborn are open for audition! To audition is simple! Auditions should be one song, ACAPELLA (meaning no instrumental) so we can really hear your voice. The recorded mp3 file can be sent to [email protected]. After hearing that song, we'll send back a selection of callback songs for the character and discuss it between the Broadway Council itself, and we will let you know how your audition went. You may also Live-Audition on Discord with me (Broadway Karkat) since I am the main mod. Just ask (out of anon) for my Discord tag.

We are also currently looking for Three [03] Lyricists to help us with lyric writing. If you’re auditioning for a lyricist role, just send us a parody that you have written before (it can be from any fandom, not only Homestuck), and we will judge the quality of the writing. Again, send in your audition to [email protected].

REMINDER THAT YOU HAVE YO BE 17 OR OLDER TO AUDITION!!!

One piece of news that I can give is that it’s officially SAHcon season and you may or may not see some Broadwaystuck on the panel line-up ;)

BROADWAYSTUCK UPDATE: 4/11/2023

theatricallyCuddly here (honk :o)) to let you know we are super excited to show you what we have for 4/13 this year, only a couple days before the big day!

Now, onto casting.

We currently have four (4) open roles, Dave Strider, John Egbert, Roxy Lalonde, and Nepeta Leijon. We would love to hear you come audition for us!

Auditions should be one song, ACAPELLA so we can really hear your voice. The recorded mp3 file can be sent to [email protected]. After hearing that song, we'll send back a selection of callback songs for the character and discuss it between us admins, then some sweet miracles happen, hehe. BROADWAYSTUCK UPDATE - 04/01

Hey all! CastelessGuardian here, with some more news! (Non-aprils fools, this part will come later in the character’s blogs themselves hehehe)

We have a project in the works for 413 so keep a lookout for that! It was a huge group effort and I couldn’t be prouder.

Now, casting news. Due to recent events (we are a very tight-knit group but even siblings fight sometimes right? other than that, the other person has parted ways amicably), we are casting John Egbert and Nepeta Leijon once again!

Again, that is John Egbert and Nepeta Leijon currently open for auditioning.

We are very sad to see Nepeta go, but they will keep on with their own singing group (against the rules a bit but I have to say, go check Rockstar Steven Universe!!! Maybe even audition! I have the utmost faith that Nep is going to do magic with the group!)

For the audition process, please pick a song and record yourself singing it until after the chorus ends, ACAPELLA (meaning no instrumental), so we can clearly hear your voice! If we do see the character in your voice, you will get a callback with several songs that fit the character (curated by me) and choose one to sing. We will discuss it as an admin group and let you know how you went! All auditions must be sent to [email protected]. REMINDER THAT YOU HAVE TO BE 17+ TO AUDITION

Other than that, with Nep’s departure, Gamzee is our new hub blog administrator. Expect to hear some honks here and there while you’re around.
