Therapy is risky because sometimes they'll just ask you their standard "why can't you, though", and you think you're making some good point by saying something like "well if I don't do anything with my life then what's the point of being alive in the first place" and your therapist gets that look on their face and you immediately realise that your dumb ass just got caught, pinned to the ground with your stupid-ass neck between the spikes of a pitchfork, and you are not going to wiggle out of there before you two unpack what the fuck you just said.

Okay logistically speaking that all makes sense but the frustration is still there you know?

Also yeah, most of those things happened in the middle of class which I don't have access to a03 at work so it's not like I can write fanfic even when we do have downtime.

Idk man adulthood just sucks lmao. Its not like I wanna go back cause my teenage years were FUCKED but fuck if I don't miss it.

Anyway, thanks for the reassurance, tbh it's 6am here which is like a Normal person's 1am (considering my fucked sleep schedule) so most of this is 'dangerous midnight thoughts' that go away by morning.

I remember when high school me could balance making AMV's, writing one shot after one shot with a longfic updating at least once a month, AND manage to write at least 1k words a day that was all roleplay.

How was I able to do all of that on top of school, while adult me is struggling to write ONE chapter for a fic I might not even continue, cut down a youtube video, and balance my own damn job at the same time.

All of this was spurred by the fact that I want to make a YT video for genshin from a stream, and i lost 2 hours of editing by de-syncing the footage. I didn't realize until it was too late to undo the damage, and had to quit the program without saving anything :/
