"You could do so much! You're absolutely brilliant, Ellie! I just don't want to be like dad.. I mean I'm going to be a doctor, but not the Doctor." She sighed, she did love her dad it was just it never seemed like he had enough time for his kids, "It's.. Odd in my head I guess."
She laughed a little and leaned back on the bench, "You still are a riot, that's for sure! But I suppose I'm not there anymore, unfortunately.. Speaking of which," she looked up at Ellie and smiled, "Would you want to travel with me, your big sister?"

Ellie let out a low whistle and shook her head. “You’d think with a ruddy time machine you’d be able to get their own time.” She laughed softly, waving it off with her hand. “At least you’re trying, more than I can say for me.”

Especially after saving my father from the wretched red leach venom. Vile thing.. I’ve ran into a few times in my travels, but it was way before this time.
