Trying to decide what I'm going to do with this blog and wouldn't mind some input I guess????? I came back to TVD like a year ago and initially the response was really great, I had friends to talk to and plot with ooc and this was my main fandom and I didn't feel like I had to beg or worry about interactions. This, however, didn't last and it kind of go to the point where I wasn't here because no one wanted to engage with me or Stefan and because I wasn't here, no one wanted to engage.

Most of my friends ooc fell off and I just felt like I was shouting into the void, so I sort of up and left the fandom. I've kept my blogs here in case I wanted to come back but predicably, I'm sort of in the same situation I was when I left. I don't have the time to be active like some of y'all and it's hard to spread myself across like five rp blogs but I would try, if it turned out people did want me here and there was a genuine interest. Do you think I should just delete the blog and be done with it or should I maybe try and be here now and again and see if anyone is actually interested?

Content to stay with her in a warm bed, his body pressed against hers, he was more than happy to just stay where he was. He kissed the side of her neck, and then hummed thoughtfully, as if contemplating. He had seen her before he'd ever spoken to her. He'd seen her alone, the way she looked, though she hadn't looked bright and sunny when she was surrounded by her friends, either. He understood that sadness, one bone deep that said there would never be anything else. But there was. And he'd decided long ago that if he could, he would bring her as much joy as possible. It only seemed fair, considering how much joy she had brought into his life. Perhaps he was selfish, even in his love for her, but it was as genuine and true as it could be. He could not imagine loving anyone more. She made him better.

"Alright, we can get up and go. But....I need to shower first. Care to join me?" He slyly pushed the shoulder of her shirt down to expose it, dropping another kiss onto her olive skin. "They might have to sacrifice being there first but he thought it was a reasonable compromise.

Elena attempted to protest for all of two seconds before she settled in against his chest and let out a long sigh of contentment.

Honestly she could lay here forever with him. It had been a long time since Elena felt something you could call "happy" and not for lack of trying. Elena got up hung out with friends, went places, did things, but depression doesn't care.

However when shes with Stefan? When shes laying in his arms like this... feeling his heart beat against her back. His breath in her hair. This is something that reminded Elena of what that distant memory of a feeling felt like. Happy.

"They might." The doppelganger chuckled. "I've been awake for like half an hour, not too long." Just long enough to check her socials and mentally plan her day out.

He groans and opens one eye slowly, allowing his sleepy vision to adjust to the lights. "Good morning. How long have you been awake?" Hopefully not too long...he's really not that interesting while he's asleep. "What time is it? Do you think they'll run out before nine am?"

He opens the other eye and turns to look at her, reaching for her hand, to entwine their fingers, pulling her against his chest and coaxing her to lay down in his arms. He hasn't had a real Christmas in decades. This is his first with her and he wants it to be perfect.
