She just couldn't do it anymore, no one listened, no one corporate under her command, she trembled a bit, hiding her face, her visor off. She’d just lost a fight with Ruby, she wasn’t the leader anymore. But what was she now if not that? Certainly she didn’t know. How was she supposed to? That’s all she had learned for the years she was growing up, how to lead. And now she wasn’t doing that anymore...
Worst of all, she didn’t tell anyone, but she couldn’t see without her visor. Her vision was horrible and everything was a blur of colors unless someone came close. She didn’t and couldn’t tell anyone, they’d think worse of her.

“Stop doin’ that, and I will stop lookin’.”
Ah, she enjoyed doing this from time to time. Her captain was perhaps the only ruby willing to suffer through her prodding and mocking, so why not go for it?
“If anything the only one flaunting her rear is Ruby! So stop heckling me.” She growled and waved her away face flushed as she tried to go back to reading what was on the screen of the ship.

The scowl on her face got more pronounced, and this time she couldn’t stop the soft growl in her throat. She was half-mind to throw the ruby’s hand off her shoulder- but the knowledge that her Captain only meant well had her settle down again, and A6Y allowed the other to pull her some distance away from the rest of the squad.
She hated this- hated these ‘small talks’ they had together, forced to calm down and think for once. Let in the doubts and self-loathing accumulate and nearly overwhelm her, and she couldn’t scream and rage to mute them out.
“… Just overreacted,” she hissed, not looking her way “It won’t happen again.” An empty promise.
“I’m fine with it happening. Losing your cool is what we do. I’m just worried as to why your losing it so often.” She gruffed out crossing her arms as she stared at her. “I understand you have a lot of pent up energy, but I can’t tell if you don’t explain things.”

Oh great, Kindergarten gems. She sighed huffing and crossing her arms. “Is it important?” She questioned, she just needed to fetch one more Ruby for her squad, and all the previous Amethysts were proving to be difficult, especially ones from the Zoo.
This hub was way too crowded for her liking, and she was glad that she had not taken any of her other squad members here, or they might have blown up.
