In this particular body of work is evidence that female sexuality is most freely experienced not through nakedness and lure but through the gaze of fellow women. Platonic, love-filled, supportive relationships between women are proving to be extremely satisfying and sexually fulfilling. Women’s relationships in the past have often been associated with cattiness, jealousy, and competition. We don’t stand for that anymore, we are now strong and together in light of quarrel and gossip. Instead of cat calls, we are taking on our own cat’s call and using our voices to encourage the women around us to be free and in love with ourselves.
