The woman of his dreams

Pair : Aemond x lector

Warnings: Fluff? actually I don't think there is none.

Notes: To be honest, I had a clear idea but then I got sidetracked, I'm posting it because I still like the way it turned out.

Context: How is Aemond with a wife who is a mixture of the first two women he loves in his life?

➤ Aemond since he saw you for the first time you reminded him of his mother's beauty. You are like a copy of Alicent, that was something that motivated him to talk to you. You have wavy hair held in small braids, with a light green dress contrasted with white, but in the part of your waist are woven some pink flowers. Showing a soft smile with eyes that have a characteristic glow.

➤ Then, since he saw you for the first time, he followed you discreetly the hours he was not in his training. With that he realized that your favorite places are the garden and the library, where you choose books on gardening and animals.

➤ The first time he talked to you was in the library where he caught you looking for some books for your plants "If you are looking for books to take care of your wildflower, it is at the bottom."

You startle dropping the book you had in your hands, you pick it up quickly to bow to him "I'm sorry my prince, I didn't mean to disturb" you say it softly looking at him nervously and place the book where it should be. "I withdraw so as not to interrupt your reading."

"My lady, you are not a bother, in fact I think you would make a good companion. would you like to join me for a while in my reading?" With a smile you nod and look for the book you wanted where he had told you.

➤ It became a routine for you to be with him in the library in the afternoons after your knitting classes. Aemond would read history or philosophy, while you were interested in books about mother earth, its stages, rules and care.

➤ Months after talking about your tastes and knowledge, he noticed how intelligent you were about nature and you became more interested in the battle of your ancestors and their history. Aemond noticed your interest in dragons, so he promised you that someday you will see the greatest dragon still alive.

➤ Thanks to Aemond, you met Helaena, a woman you loved because you were so much alike. With this he realized that you are the representation of the perfect woman. He didn't wait another day to go to his mother and tell her the news that he had found the woman of his dreams.

➤ A wedding was held some time later, where there was joy and laughter all around along with a great feast that was shared among the crowd. You on the one hand show a smile knowing that you have married a respectful and kind man, you knew that Aemond's reputation is of being someone cold and ruthless, but he has shown you that he is the opposite, Aemond Targaryen is a man that every woman should have in her life, but unfortunately for those women, this man is already yours. On the other side was Aemond, who for the first time shows a smile that the whole audience can appreciate, but still keeping his cold gaze towards the men who crave your gaze.

➤ In the early days of marriage you can see that Aemond has devoted all his time to you, without neglecting his princely affairs. Afternoons as usual were in the library, but sometimes it is interrupted by your desire to take care of your plants, then Aemond is reading sitting on one of the benches in the garden while you are in front of him growing and caring for flowers.

"Aemond, dear can you look at me for a moment?"

"What do you desire of me, my wildflower?" he asks looking up from his book, finding you with a flower in each hand.

"Which do you think your mother likes, Hydrangeas or Lilies?" you look at him hesitantly "I always bring her Lilies, because they are beautiful, but I also plant Hydrangeas, which are your mother's favorite color. what do you think?" you ask.

He smiles as he sees how you make a point of always cheering up his mother with the flowers you've planted these past few weeks. "I'd say Hydrangeas, if it's the color green she'll love anything" he says turning his gaze back to the book as he sees how you nodded and started gathering a bouquet of Hydrangeas.

➤ Let's talk about your relationship with your mother-in-law, Alicent knew you were a good woman for Aemond after seeing the affection and kindness you gave him when you both spent your afternoons in the library. After the marriage, they grew closer thanks to the little tea parties they have together and sometimes Helaena joins in. She is happy to see how her son is married to a woman who complements him, whenever I hear you talk about Aemond you always rave about him, like a woman in love. And that made her happy.

➤ Aemond's love for you is so infinite that he fights with sword and shield to stop anything that breaks his happy marriage. If you are sad or angry, Aemond will help you change that feeling to happiness, if you get hurt, they expect the person to hide well, because everyone can see the anger he feels and there is no better dish he can deliver to Vhagar than human flesh.

➤ Aemond's love for you is enhanced by having his firstborn in his arms, Visenya Targaryen, a baby girl who has your beauty aside from her lilac eyes and Aemond's signature bright white hair. Little one who I assure you will always be in her father's arms, while he admires her beauty like a mesmerized man.

➤ Aemond knew it from the beginning, you are the woman of his dreams, the woman who only has eyes for him and will always have her arms open for him when he needs you.

Notes: Thank you for your support of the first headcanon! 💕💕 Being honest sometimes I'm a bit insecure about writing, but I do it for fun. I bring you a little bit of reader with Aemond. I hope you like it!

When you arrive at your boyfriend's house, you look at him hiding your hands behind your back.

"What do you have between your hands?" asks Aemond crossing his arms amused, he knew you were hiding something by the fact that you are very smiley.

You are both in your room, after he had asked you to come over to sleep at his place. After college studies, where Aemond studies law to work in his father's company, you didn't have much time to see each other, but he asked you to be at his house as a way to make up for lost time.

Several nights you spent sleeping in his bed while he studied the subject that you would be studying the next class, after a few hours Aemond would turn everything off and lay down next to you, to wake up together in the morning and continue with the reality of the university.

Now he is sitting near his desk which is full of books and papers with long texts, while you are standing in front of him.

"I have something for you, but first close your eyes" he complies with your wish and closes them, then you take the object out of your hands and hang it on his neck "don't open them."

"I don't, but I think I know what it is" he smiles placing his hands on your waist to settle you on his lap.

"Don't move me, wait a while" as you settle him nicely next to the necklace he already had, which is a little gold chain with the initial letter of your name on it. You take his phone that is on the desk and place the camera "Ready, you can open them."

He opens his eyes finding you sitting on his lap and showing him his phone, which was placed the camera where he sees perfectly the pearl necklace that matches perfectly next to the other necklace.

"A pearl necklace?" He is confused by this detail, he never expected this kind of gift.

"It has an explanation. Let's just say that as soon as I saw this necklace, I thought about the guys who come out of the internet and look good with this kind of necklace. And then it occurred to me to buy it for you, because I think you would look good with it even though you always look good in some way" you admit nervously touching the pearl necklace, but you get a little discouraged seeing his expression "but if you don't want to wear it, no problem , I bought it knowing it's not your style" you try to take it off, but he grabs your hands and denies looking at you.

"Easy babe, I like the necklace, I just wasn't expecting this kind of gift".

"Are you sure you like it? Really, I can change it if you don't like it" you bite your lip nervously placing your hands on his chest.

Aemond pulls you closer to him taking you by the waist "I'd be a fool to despise a gift from a woman like you. I really like it, I'm already growing fond of it. I even think it matches the leather jacket" You smile to press your lips to his. " Thank you sweetheart."

Aemond since that night, he started wearing the necklace every day, even on the ones where he had to dress formal and somehow manages to wear it without it breaking his style, but he never took it off. On causal days you can see him in his leather jacket and dark colored dress, but the pearl necklace stands out among all that darkness. Some time later, Aemond gave you one just like it under the pretext of being the same, but the truth is that he had to mark territory. And whenever he is asked where he had gotten the necklace he always answers with a smile "My girlfriend T/N gave it to me last night, isn't it beautiful?"

What it would be like to have Aemond as a boyfriend:

- Modern! Aemond will always be by your side. No matter the place or the time, at college, at work or somewhere else at late hours, he will be by your side. Always holding your hand, and when he wants to mark territory he puts his arm around your waist. But he is always by your side, guarding and protecting what is his. Because you are his.

- Modern! Aemond has several types of love language, but the one that always stands out is that he showers you with gifts even on days when they have nothing to do. The necklace you always wear? He saw it when he was on a family trip and when he saw the sapphire dangling from the chain, he bought it without thinking about it for you. The green dress that's tucked away in your closet? Saw it online and thought about how it would fit your body perfectly, bought it without hesitation.

- Modern! Aemond makes sure you always have a flower arrangement in your apartment. Since he met you, he knew that you love flowers and when he started dating you, he gave you flowers every day and even more on special days.

Having Aemond as a boyfriend means going to family dinners, which although he doesn't really like going, he does it for his mother, which by the way, Alicent likes you so much that he always asks Aemond to bring you home to enjoy a moment with you. Thing she loves that she gets along with you.

- Modern! Aemond is such a gentleman with you. He always has his hand on your thigh when he drives, opens the doors and lets you in first, seats you when they eat and always waits for you when you're in the fitting room to see how the clothes you picked out fit. He never complains if it takes you two hours to choose between two dresses, and if at the end you are too undecided he buys both.

- Modern! Aemond always makes sure you show your beautiful smile, he hates it when you are sad or angry and can't see the curve of your lips. He will do anything to see it, gifts, an outing, watching your favorite movie or series, and even if you want a trip to the other side of the world, he will do anything to see your smile.

- Modern! Aemond lets you do whatever you want with him. One thing you always do is brush his hair. You love the softness of his hair and always ask him for his secret to having hair like that. And he only replies that it's genetics and you deny saying that it's bad to keep secrets causing him to laugh.

- Modern! Aemond is always cold and distant on the outside, but when you are alone in his apartment or yours, he needs your attention and loves to lay his head in the hollow between your neck and shoulder while you caress his hair or any part of his body, he finds it so relaxing.

- Modern! He loves the little things you do for him. Like always visiting him at his office while he works, you take the time to welcome him with food and open arms, this causes Aemond to grab your cheeks and kiss your lips, because he still doesn't know what he did to deserve these details.

- "I love you so much T/N, I promise you that you will be the mother of my children and grandmother of my grandchildren" you stand on your tiptoes to kiss his lips "And I promise to be with you for life, it will be very difficult to separate you from me".

- "I would have to be dead to be separated from you".

- BONUS! Aemond loves you so much that sometimes he can't carry so much love, so he shared it with his cat Vhagar. That kitty loves you so much that she even scratches Aemond if he takes her away from you, she loves to be in your lap.
