Hannah Montana is fucked up because its entire POINT as a show is that children should be protected from fame and exploitation, but it stars a REAL little girl that's being exploited. Nearly every episode carries the looming threat of Miley being outed as Hannah and losing her peaceful teenage life to the ravages of fame. Her father in the show (played by her own father in real life) wisely protected her from the trauma of fame by making her wear a disguise and live a rather quiet, interview-free life. Meanwhile the REAL Billy Ray Cyrus sold his daughter to Disney Channel when she was 11 and forced her to read dialogue about how terrible it would be to face the public eye. Like... Jesus, dude. The fictional Robby Ray is 10x the father, and it's not even close. (It's also IMMENSELY funny that her dad doesn't use his real name in the show, while she does. Almost like he wanted a bit of a disconnect between his identity and his character. Something Miley didn't get.)

its crazy growing up and realizing how deranged everyone is and how many problems everyone has. in such mundane ways. your waiter at olive garden believes in q anon. the woman doing your x ray just moved in with a guy she met a week ago. your insurance agent is a hoarder. etc.

Im a firm believer (and always will be) that maya and mia had a very complicated relationship. I think part of what makes mia so interesting is the fact that she kind of sucks? She left home to chase down what ruined her family, but she never even got the chance to fix it. And now maya’s left with this huge burdan to deal with alone. Don’t get me wrong, maya *loved* Mia and always will, but i think their relationship is alot more interesting once to take into account how much strain mia put on it by leaving. Idk. God it is a pain tho with the likes vs reblogs on art ,,, I get it as an audience not wanting to reblog smth if it feels like an obligation to I am far from immune to that phenomenon but also like god having to learn how to appeal to an audience and not ever complain about lack of attention and learn proper posting times and be glad with still just emotional table scraps it does feel disheartening to post art on this website , I have an art blog so I will use it , it just... it rarely feels Worth it ,

My art blog is inactive for a reason , yknow , I draw more than I post by a long shot , and I will keep drawing , it just feels not worth it to post , it feels like a practice of a less fun form of masochism
