Hey! I was reading Enough for Now and in the first chapter it says, “shotgun in hand. In an instant, y/n saw the unsub raise his gun for Hotch.” and “pushed him to the ground, a bullet piercing her abdomen.”

Shotguns don’t use bullets, they use shells. Shells are loaded with small pellets that upon firing scatter in a cylindrical pattern. So someone firing a shotgun wouldn’t produce one wound, but many.

Just wanted to let you know!
