He made her feel better, it was the only way to describe how she felt around the man. So, for the second time since returning home from Bora Bora, Esme found herself inside his home, him laying on her lap where digits twirled short curls around. “I’m okay with whatever you want to do – though I don’t know if I believe you can cook. Aren’t gamers supposed to survive on snack foods and soda? Isn’t that the stereotype?” A tease if ever one. 

A content hum eased from his lips, dark hues fluttering shut as Esme’s digits toyed with his curls, finally filled with an undying happiness within his frame before a laugh eases from his lips at her words. “First of all, I can cook,” Niko countered, single eye popping open to look up at the brunette, smirk quipping across his lips. “Second of all, I think we can both agree that I’m not your typical gamer. Granted, there’s nothing wrong with surviving off of snack foods and soda.”
