This GFM campaign belongs to Fadi Alshrafi, who you can find on TikTok here. His family is one of hundreds who are on the Operation Olive Branch spreadsheet. He is one of 9 family members trying to evacuate Gaza; as of 2/19, his brother was injured during bombings, his pregnant sister-in-law needs urgent prenatal care, and his father needs medication for Congestive Heart Failure (if you're in healthcare you know how dire it is to go without CHF medication; if you're not in healthcare: heart failure means heart FAILURE. If it goes untreated for too long it will become fatal).

I've checked today (2/28) and Fadi's campaign has reached about 22% of its goal, not even 1/3 of the way there. Please donate what you can, and spread this campaign to help Fadi and his family.

This is the link to help Hani. Hani is a skater currently living in Belgium and rebuilding his life. His family lives in Gaza and are suffering at the hands of the occupation. His father was killed and they lost their house. He is now responsible to protect his family.

He needs the funds to help them evacuate. Please donate and share this.

“After losing my house and its destruction on October 13th, my family became displaced in tents, and on September 15th, I lost my father due to the attack on Al-Shifa Hospital. My father was suffering from kidney failure and passed away due to lack of treatment. He was the breadwinner of my family. Now I am responsible for my family, which consists of 10 members, including 3 minors, and my 18-year-old brother. The rest are my sisters, including two toddlers, one is 3 years old, and the other is 2 years old.”

“My siblings were university students and had dreams too, but because of the war, they lost everything; they lost the university, our home, and our father. They aspire to continue their studies at the university, but the war destroyed everything. I'm now trying to get them out of Gaza to Egypt to rebuild their shattered lives. To do that, they need to be evacuated, and they need to pay for the coordination into Egypt. Due to war time prices, they're asking for 5,000 euros per person to get them out of Gaza because northern Gaza has been completely wiped out, with insufficient food and people scattered among the rubble of homes under heavy bombardment. Today is day 1 of my hunger strike.

And I would like to remind you all that I am doing this because it is an efficient way for me to protest the forced starvation of a whole population in Gaza. I refuse to live undisturbed- while other people starve to death- just because I was lucky enough to be born somewhere where genocidal atrocities are seen as the crime that they are.

The more time passes, the more we see people suffer and die. This is not normal. Gaza’s population are on their last legs. Kids are starving. We cannot continue to let this happen. I’m hunger striking, but I still need your help. I believe in collective power. Please support me on my hunger strike and continue to donate to organizations that are actively providing aid in Gaza. Some places to donate include (but are not limited to) Anera, the PCRF, and UNRWA.
