on a normal friday night u usually find urself staying in ur apartment, tucked away in ur knitted blanket while chipping away at missing assignments. although 90% of the time ur on ur laptop, ur usually online shopping or binge watching a random tv show on hulu. its been a long week for u, finally finishing ur midterms all while juggling ur work responsibilities. u never settled for an easy-going lifestyle and u were fine with that. if anything, fulfilling ur own responsibilities was more than enough to keep u satisfied.

thus, u have never had a boyfriend. u never found it in urself to spark up conversations with anyone other than ur friends or teachers. no one particularly peaked ur interest and u never felt the societal pressure of finding someone to like. and by no means were u ever deemed unattractive, u knew u had a few admirers urself, but it was not something u paid any attention to.

the amounts of 'ur single?' 'uve never kissed anyone?' 'yeah, but what about this guy?' felt endless. it turned u off from the idea of relationships even more.

so u werent sure how or why u managed to get pulled out of the comfort of ur room with nothing but a pair of heels and a short, skimpy dress. tugging at the hem of ur skirt attempting to cover up what was left of ur dignity deemed to be useless, only revealing bits of ur strapless bra the more u pulled it down. ur two friends were frequent party goers, knowing most of frat row since theyre there every free weekend they have.

the cold air bites against ur skin and u start regretting that u didnt bring ur nice leather jacket. as u clutch onto ur friends arms for dear life, u all finally make it to the front door of a house uve seen in passing from ur daily walks to campus. seeing it at night was so much different from what u were used to. the windows were filled with colorful flashing lights with silhouettes of people having conversations and dancing. some people were standing on the lawn outside passing around what seemed to be half a blunt, a man passed out right in the middle of their group.

"lucky we dragged u along for this party! this might be one of the good ones" ur friend excitedly knocks on the door, rubbing against ur own arm for warmth. u werent sure why u were nervous, u never found it hard to talk to people but for some reason u felt like u were going to go into cardiac arrest. ignoring the constant calls from the men settled on the lawn who were obviously drunk. u were completely distracted from the noise that u didnt even notice that the front door finally opened.

"leave them alone man" said a taller male, throwing an empty cup at the group of men on the lawn. followed by a string of yells & protests, u glance up and find ur friends joking around with the dude that just littered. his hair was black and slightly long, one ear having a dangly earring. hes wearing a black shirt that hugs his frame a bit too nicely along baggy ripped jeans equipped with chains. as ur observing him, his eyes glance over, raising an eyebrow at u. almost in a teasing way, he sends a u toothy smile, glancing over his shoulder and resting his arm against the frame of the door.

"entry is $5, but for you, i can let u in for free"

all u could do was slightly part ur mouth in response, no words coming out. was he serious? ur friends roll their eyes in unison obviously used to this man's behavior, shoving past his frame followed by a "very funny, nicholas". u follow promptly behind since all ur arms were still tightly linked, and as u looked behind ur shoulder to check back at the front door, he was shooting u another signature smile before walking off to find his own crowd.

several shots in & three hard seltzers later, u became a lot more loose around the huge crowd of people. u found a few familiar faces that shared a couple of classes with u, each person almost shocked that u even came to a function like this. all u could do was shoot a smile, cheers their can with ur own & walk away to mingle. it was hot & steamy on the main floor, every person who was wearing glasses having fogged up lenses. 'this isnt terrible' u thought. its almost as if a lightbulb lit u above ur head after realizing going out every once in a while is a good thing.

ur phone pinged for the tenth time and besides ignoring it like u have for the majority of the night, u flip ur screen over to find that u have an assignment due at midnight tonight. curses & panic run through your mind, bringing urself to the staircase to walk up to the empty level of the house. ur back crashes against the wall as u slide down, reading the canvas post as u begin drafting out ur paper right then and there. ur fingers are rapidly typing all while thinking 'im never going to finish this ...'

"u seem fun at parties"

ur brows furrow in response, breaking contact with ur phone, ur eyes settle on someone a lot more pleasant.

"go on. dont let me stop u"

that same toothy grin was lit up by the rgb lights in the hallway, taking a seat right next to u as he sips on the warm jungle juice. ever since u came here, u were never in the right state of mind especially after all of those shots. focusing on ur assignment was difficult in a setting like this ... and even more difficult now that theres a very attractive man breathing over ur shoulder.

"do u mind ..." u shoot, back now slightly facing towards him in attempts to cover ur phone screen. ur fingers are busy typing but somehow there are zero words written for this assignment. u have about 40 minutes left until midnight.

u almost couldnt stand his overwhelming presence right next to u. the scent of his cologne was strong even through the smell of the dark, musty house. ur ears shut the music out once u notice something moving in the corner of ur eye, his hand snatching ur phone away faster than u can react. the alcohol in ur system didnt make ur response time any better, and honestly, neither did his.

"give that back, ur gonna send in an empty assignment ... "

he laughs at watching ur attempts at retrieving ur device back, his arm raised up high in the air as u lean over trying to retrieve it. all of this commotion, u dont even realize ur dress riding up high on ur thighs, a strap of ur dress falling off of ur shoulder.

its no doubt nicholas notices how vulnerable u are. he wasnt sure if it was the alcohol or the fact that ur practically half-naked in front of him. with wavering eyes, he clears his throat, quickly tossing ur phone on ur lap before grabbing a discarded jacket that was left in the hallway by a random and wrapping it around ur shoulders.

u watch as he gets up, softly patting at ur head before heading back downstairs. it wasnt clear to someone like u who was extremely faded, but a clear blush was spread across his face.

"u got at least 30 minutes to finish that assignment, u got this"

and 30 minutes later ...

u didnt finish ur assignment.

instead, u were left in the hallway, simmering in ur own thoughts of nicholas.

Y'all y'all y'all y'all do yk how I play clarinet?? Yeah will after interacting with me band fellows,, a plan started brewing :>

I wanna get into heavy details but I'm lazy and don't feel like typing anything out, but I was thinking of doing my very first smau that kind of.. references my band class. It will be starring xikers yechan, because he's the only idol I know and stan (as of now) that plays an instrument. I'll most likely add more members of xikers, add some &team, who knows even riize, to make everything feel fuller.

I personally like the idea a lot, but I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in reading..

I'll probably still make the smau no matter the answer, but we will see 🤷‍♀️

▸ 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺?

Despite kei being the oldest, I think his response to you acing your exam would be more energetic than the rest. He’d be sitting on the couch, all calm and collected while watching tv or scrolling through his phone, when you pop into the room and announce the news. He would go, “what.. What?.. WHAT??” with each time getting louder and louder until he starts bouncing off the walls.. literally. He kind of reminds me of High School Musical’s “What Time Is It?”, in the beginning when the clock finally ticks summer time and Chad gets so excited that he jumps up and kisses the teacher's cheek. I feel like kei would do that, but more dramatic.

Fuma would turn so soft and fussy when you tell him the news. It’s just like some button turned on and now he’s all touchy and lovely. “I knew you could do it,” he’d say in a soft whisper while stroking your cheek with the pad of his thumb, giving you all sorts of affirmations because he knew how stressed out you were. Then he’d look into your eyes with this very sweet gaze, before slowly connecting your lips for a kiss.

You don’t even have the opportunity to finish your sentence because nicholas is grabbing your wrist and dragging you to some karaoke. He just wants you to let loose and scream your heart out. Doesn’t care if your voice cracks because he will happily join you, butchering the song lyrics and almost choking on his spit but who cares?? You’re having fun!!

Oh, did someone say spa day? As soon as euijoo hears the news, you are immediately swept off your feet and sat in your comfiest chair, being fed your favorite fruits and/or drinks. No matter what you say, euijoo ensures that you’ll never ever lay your fingertips on anything else because he will do anything for you. You want to watch some television? He’s already grabbing the remote and turning on your favorite show. Your muscles feel tense? He’s grabbing your favorite scented lotion so he can massage your poor body. He’s your personal maid for the rest of the week.. And there's nothing you can do about it :p 

I feel like yuma would do your skincare routine, but with those silly face masks and random, colorful rubber bands in your hair. Has fun taking photos of you but almost panics when you want to do the same thing to him. Just a few moments later, you turned him into your favorite baby girl. Two big, pink pigtails with a little tiara to set it off. But wait, where’s his tutu?? 

Jo already knew you’d pass your exam (because you’re so smart ^^) so to celebrate, he would stay home and spend the day with you. Honestly, he doesn’t want to do much activity because he wants you to wind down and relax, but he’d happily join you on your adventures if you have the energy!! Lays down on your bed as he engulfs you in his arms, pressing a kiss on your forehead because he’s just so proud of you, his little star :(( 

The day you pass your exam so happens to be a wonderful day outside :D Harua decides to take you out for a lovely walk around the park accompanied with some refreshing ice cream because he knows how much you love the combo. Well.. until you accidentally drop your ice cream cone. Stiffles back a laugh because he knows you’d whack him with no hesitation, and offers you his ice cream because he’s on a diet anyway :/ After you’re done with your frozen treat, he’d take you to the swings and push you hard enough, you’d be convinced you could fly!

Because taki doesn’t like seeing you happy (it’s his love language okay?), he’d be sarcastic. “Oh really? Who did you cheat off of?” He’d say, but his grin would ruin his facade. Opens you with welcomed arms, “good job, I’m so proud of you,” he’d say as he’d hold you tight, kissing  your forehead.

I think maki’s would turn into a shouting rant. Does that make sense? It’s not like an argument in any way, you’d see your results and start shouting to maki with excitement, and he’d return the energy by shouting back. It’s like two besties, is what I'm trying to say. “MAKI, I GOT AN A ON THE TEST!!” / “YOU GOT A WHAT??” / “I GOT AN A ON THE TEST!!” / “YOU GOT AN A ON THE TEST??” / “I GOT AN A ON THE TEST!!!” and then you’d hold hands as you jump around in place with beaming eyes.

▸ 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺?

Mal and Ben’s dynamic has been pretty cute over the first two movies. The constant “I can’t do it” , “Yes you can, I'm right here with you.” personally warms my heart to see the level of assurance and comfort that takes place between the two characters.

If Minjae fitted into Mal’s character, he would definitely need a bit (a lot) of reassurance, and that's okay! He could be stressed out about producing or school, and your kind words would make the time go by a little faster. One thing I noticed is that Mal is trying to live up to her parents' expectations, so I could see the same with Minjae and his parents. Maybe they wanted him to go the typical doctor route, but he knows deep down that he loves producing. Being there with him and helping along the way, showing, telling him that he is his own person and that he should find his own light will definitely make him shed a tear. Of joy, of course.

If Hunter fitted into Ben's character, I can definitely see all the sweet gestures and words he would give you. Sure, you may have argued the previous day, but Hunter would do everything in his power to break the ice, and talk to you about it – resolve the situation. The amount of pet names he would give you would make your head spin because he truly wants you to know how special you are and how much you mean to him. He definitely is your prince charming.

Evie and Doug over the first two movies have been super cute, but not that much action should I say? Compared to Mal and Ben, their storyline hasn't been as clear. One minute they're sharing glances, then the next minute they're talking as friends/classmates? I think Disney could have done a better job at connecting everything (this is based off of the first two movies btw) but, this is obviously love at first sight, and he fell first, yet she fell harder 🤭

If Junmin fitted into Doug's character, I could definitely see him play the more nerdy role. Junmin knows a few things and despite the stereotypes given to Evie (or to you), he'd be more than willing to help you out.. study together.. indirectly asking for your number/a date. This is so junmin. He would be a little shy at first because of his newfound feelings, but once you get closer and he gets to know you more, he'd be a little flirty, touchy, smiley.. are you picking up what I'm putting down?

If Hyunwoo fitted into Evie's character, I feel like hyunwoo would have this desire to kind of fit in, but through Doug (or you again), he would learn to be more of himself. I don't really know what I'm saying for this one, but hyunwoo would feel more like himself whenever he's with you. He'd be a little oblivious to your liking towards him, but once you start talking more and befriend each other, he'd kind of get slapped with that feeling, and fall even harder than before. 

Again, Disney didn't really do a good job connecting everything when it comes to Jay and Lonnie. There were some things that didn't make as much sense.. but I'm still going to write about them 🫡 In the second movie, Lonnie says wordlessly that girls can do the same things as boys, and in the few scenes, they showcase how astonish yet proud Jay is to see her go. In the end, Jay gives away his captain role so Lonnie could still play with them, without breaking the rules.

If sumin fitted into Jay's character, which I can definitely see btw, he’d almost be like a frat boy; insanely good looks and he’s good at sports too?? The girls are drooling over him. And sumin acknowledges that, yet he doesn't decide to hook up with a random girl (he prob did but this is a kids movie for god's sake) because he shows respect to them. He’d, again, be shocked to see a girl that’s so courageous like you, and that would give his heart a little ping. Who knows, he might even invite you to the school dance ;)

If Junghoon fitted into Lonnie’s character, I think he would fall for someone who allows him to be himself (?) Like since Lonnie issn’t the traditional girl and Jay didn’t try to do anything to interfere with that, you know? He thinks to himself, “wow.. I’m able to be my complete self around her,” and he’d definitely showcase that in your presence. And if you return the energy? He’s jumping off the walls on the inside, but giving a small smile to hide his happiness. 

I remember watching Descendants 2 when I was little and grinning whenever Jane and Carlos came on the screen. Their love life is honestly what I daydream about, and I’m not jealous obviously. Carlos spends his time on the movie pining for Jane, but is too nervous to tell her about it. He does confess to Jane, but it’s through this ramble confession that makes my heart flutter :((

If jinsik fitted into Jane’s character, he’d be a little (very) oblivious to your feelings. Like you want to go out for coffee because you like being around him? He’d think it's some kind of compliment or maybe because you want to get some homework done or something. So he does accidentally put you into the friend zone which you desperately want to escape, but he probably  won’t realize his feelings unless you confess to him and basically put him on the spot. Because this feeling is so sudden, he would want to start everything slow, just so he can adjust to it all. 

If yechan fitted into Carlos’s character, which I can definitely see btw pt. 2, he would use his more silly and whimsical side to get your attention, and to get some laughter bubbling out of you. When he starts to get all fuzzy while hearing your laughter, he knows he’s fallen deep, and things start to get a little awkward. Maybe that’s why you accidentally friend zone him? But just know that he’s been practicing his confession on his friends (they all hate it), and he feels prepared.. He just needs to find the right moment ;) pt. 2

For the third time, Disney doesn’t do a good job at explaining Uma and Harry’s ship, so this is all based on something I found on the internet. Uma and Harry’s dynamic is more like teasing your best friend, but knowing that they will always have your back and vice versa. They also have more perks, like giving away something that means a lot to them to the other. (*cough cough* Harry giving uma his hook) They are very silly around each other but know when to get serious!

If seeun fitted into Harry’s character, he’d definitely be your personal trickster, only giving you sly smiles whenever he gets caught. You also have lots of childhood memories that you both adore, sometimes spending your shared time giggling under your pillow fort together. Not only that, but seeun is also your personal bodyguard. You don’t like how someone looks at you? He’d do everything in his power to separate the both of you, and if the person gets mad, he is there to take any hits. He is very loyal to his bestie. Heck, he’d even take your side when he knows that you’re in the wrong.

If yujun fitted into Uma’s character, he would be a little more assertive through your teachings, and loyal as a dog to you. You were most likely childhood besties, so you’d always have a special place in his heart. If you were to give him something that meant a lot to you, he’d honestly get a little teary eyed, because it shows that he means a lot to you too :(( You are definitely his comfort place, and he’d do everything in his power to protect the one he loves.

︴bonus! i loved this idea saur much! You know, despite disney making cringe movies, they actually have very good morals built into them. Like girls can do the same as boy, and you don't always have to follow your parents strict expections; it made me smile to that. Also, funny story, I was taking notes while watching the films and then I come back the next day to find the notes gone?! Turns out it was saved to a different file which is weird.. anyways please request for more fun headcanons!

ej is often not the one to initiate a hug. he keeps to himself, not wanting to show too much affection or cross too many boundaries. but when you hug him, he can’t help but feel so loved, resting his forehead against yours, just bathing in the warmth of your touch. he doesn’t even dare to move or say anything, just softly embracing you. ej is so sweet, but he’s nervous that the hug is going on for too long, or you might be uncomfortable. hugging ej takes a while to feel natural, but he has a huge smile on his face when you part, knowing that he loves you so dearly.

murata fuma - fuma

he’s a bit shocked when you first hugged him, but he quickly grows used to it. with the amount of muscle he has, his hugs are super warm and comfortable, his arms snugly wrapped around your waist, your chin on his shoulder. he hums gently and uses one hand to stroke your hair, smiling. I can definitely imagine you falling asleep while fuma is hugging you. while he might not be a big hugger himself, he can clearly tell when you need one, and has no problem indulging you.

koga yudai- k

k hugs only the people he trusts. it makes him feel strong to hold you in his arms, so trust me, he’s hugging you pretty often. he shrinks down from his full height, lowering his head so it can rest comfortably on your shoulder while he presses a soft kiss to your neck. k is often cold towards those he doesn’t know, so you really know he truly loves you when he spends full minutes with his arms wrapped snugly around you, just humming softly to himself as the two of you embrace.

wang yixiang- nicholas

nicholas has two sides: smug, and soft. when you first run at him, wrapping your arms around him and snuggling into his embrace, he chuckles against your skin with a little smile, whispering “did you really miss me that much?”. but it doesn’t take long for him to sigh and hold you tightly, letting himself get comfortable in your arms. he whispers sweet things to you as the two of you rock back and forth, just swaying and basking in each other’s affection. nicholas values physical touch so much, so hugs with him would be both frequent and sweet. he can’t last a day without a hug.

nakakita yuma - yuma

hugging yuma would put the biggest grin on his face. yuma typically loves to have his arm around your shoulders or around your waist when you’re out and about, but it’s rare full hugs like these that he truly treasures. his arms immediately fly to your waist, holding you so tightly you almost can’t breathe, and for a moment it feels like you’re wrestling rather than hugging, but that’s just him showing how close he wants to be to you. yuma is very affectionate, and hugs are his favorite kind of touch.

asakura jo - jo

jo is typically not too friendly. he’s not very touchy-feely, hence his constant rejection of romantic advances or affection from his friends. so when you hug him, it takes him a moment to process what’s actually happening. the warm feeling of your skin on his, your arms wrapped tightly around his torso. his hands float in the air, eyes wide, before he finally melts, coming down from his full height to rest his chin on the top of your head. he places one of his big hands on the small of your back, the other just between your shoulder blades. jo has a hard time adjusting to hugs, but once he starts, good luck getting him to stop.

harua loves hugs. hugging him would put a lovely smile on his face as he eagerly hugs you in return. the first time you hugged him, it was a bit awkward, a little short lived, but both of you were ecstatic afterwards. for the rest of the day, it was impossible to get him to leave you alone. harua throws his arms around your neck and laughs, the two of you spinning in a little circle while holding each other gently.

ta-ki

taki isn’t really used to hugs. he loves affection, but receiving it is a bit awkward for him. it took a long time for him to be able to gauge when a hug was appropriate, but now? he’s addicted. taki loves nothing more then your warm embrace, the feeling of your arms tightly holding him as he spins you in little circles. while taki initially wasn’t a fan of hugs, now he snuggles up against you at every opportunity. whether it’s from behind, from the side, or from the front. he just loves to be close to you when he can.

hirota riki - maki

hugging maki would just put the biggest smile on his face. he’s so happy that you want to physically be close to him, it absolutely warms his heart. he immediately wraps his arms around you tightly, resting his head on your shoulder and snuggling his face into the crook of your neck. maki makes himself at home in a hug almost immediately, and when you finally try to pry him off, he whines and rolls his eyes. and this boy is strong, so getting him off would take quite a bit of effort. he’d complain, but still has an enormous smile on his face.
