Shadow Weaver

Shadow Weaver has to be one of the best characters from She-ra. Shadow Weaver is powerful and brilliant. Her remarks are even kind of funny. We even get to dive into some of her back story. She was willing to use all of her magical power to escape the horde in order to stop Hordak. She helped Glimmer become stronger. She tried to reason with Glimmer when she wanted Scorpia to reconnect to The Black Garnet. Shadow Weaver sacrificed herself for Adora's sake but also told Catra she was proud of her. Her sacrifice also helped Adora and Catra save Etheria. If you love Catra and/or Catradora most likely you can't stand Shadow Weaver. I do want to mention something though. Shadow Weaver's first word and last line combined is literally "Adora, you're welcome." She also said the last line to Catra.

Is it just me, or is Light Spinner supposed to be Middle Eastern inspired?

The mask, the dress style, the thick black hair— even the green eyes can easily be interpreted as being inspired by Arab features/ culture.

Even in the fanart, I get this vibe.

I find this choice interesting, given inspiration from this region isn’t really present anywhere else in the show. Her voice actress, Lorraine Toussaint, is Trinidadian, so that doesn’t give any hints either.
