The luxuriant woods around the Well of Eternity were a suitable model. Azeroth's arcane lifeblood helped it grow and rebirth. Trolls were hunter-gatherers who lived in Azeroth's jungles and woodlands. The trolls were stupid, but quick and forceful. They also possessed a special physique that allowed them to mend swiftly and develop new limbs. Trolls have many superstitions. Some individuals were cannibals and slaughtered each other, while others were murdered. No one wanted to know how to do things correctly and used a nasty and strong sort of magic called voodoo. Trolls adored Kalimdor's enigmatic Wild Gods. They named them "Loa." Trolls from southern Kalimdor gathered to worship the Wild Gods. Many famous loa resided there. The trolls named the holy mountain range Zandalar and settled on its slopes, thus they adopted the name. The Zandalar tribe had many strong trolls, but they were the most powerful. The tallest summits were holy to Zandalar's followers. They constructed small shrines on the peaks. In the Emerald Dream, ghosts and untamed nature coexist with the land of Azeroth in an ethereal realm. The Emerald Dream was created by the Keepers, a group of awe-inspiring creatures known as the Keepers. The Emerald Dream and the actual world are inseparable: as the physical world changes, so do the spiritual forces that permeate it. Most people would find the Emerald Dream an exotic and weird realm even if it is related to the practical world. Some of those brains, however, are capable of entering a condition of dreaming and navigating the Emerald Dream via druidic magic. The footprint that these dreamers leave on the verdant spirit world may be shaped and influenced by their ideas, but this imprint will fade with time. In the realms of the subconscious, time and distance may be altered at will. Primordial forests teem with living spirits, swaying and changing in time with the seasons.
