really important alternative to the "stuffing/fattening up a skinny person" narrative that i would like more people to consider: encouraging someone who is already fat to get plenty to eat no matter their size/reassuring them that they deserve food and don't have to be embarrassed about how much they're eating/making sure they get plenty to eat and never skip meals or go hungry etc. fat characters who have always been self conscious and guilty around food due to their weight, who NEVER overeat or overindulge due to shame about their size, finally relaxing and enjoying food and filling up their tummy well and then some. fat characters coming to embrace having a healthy appetite and learning to love being chubby and well-fed (and maybe packing on a few more pounds too, now that they're eating good)
