Glee was always more than a tv show for me. The show, the characters the music. It was there for me during some of my most difficult times. There’s just way too many emotions attached for it to have been just another show. I’m so heartbroken over Naya. I can’t even believe it’s true. It feels like I’ve lost someone in my own family. My heart is with her family and most especially her sweet son. Life is so hard.

it’s a strange sort of mourning for somebody you haven’t met, but still has had an infinitely profound impact on your life.
naya is in all of us and in every way she touched our hearts

Honestly, I never thought I’d actually be playing a teen lesbian. I didn’t think it was going to go this far. But I’m glad that it did, because there have been a lot of fans who have expressed that they’ve been going through similar situations in their lives. - Naya Rivera

I can’t believe Naya died. This entire situation is just so damn tragic and so unbelievably sad.
Her poor son. My daughter is around the same age and the thought of her going through something like that just makes me sick to my stomach. I cried thinking about it this morning. Just so many thoughts of what ifs and what must have been going through her head and so many other things.
She seemed like a really good mother. Her boy is so young, young enough that he’ll forget a lot (if not almost everything) of this age of his life as he grows up. I pray he keeps some great memories of his mommy and doesn’t carry this one with him.
RIP Naya, I’m so sorry this happened to you.

Nicola Sturgeon, SNP leader, became the first serving prime or first minister in the UK to lead a Pride event when she opened proceedings at Pride Glasgow.
About 8,000 people were expected at the march from Clyde Place to Kelvingrove Park through the city centre in support of LGBT equality.
The First Minister is not involved in this weekend’s visit to Scotland by US President Donald Trump.
Ms Sturgeon, who has been a vocal critic of Mr Trump, was named honorary grand marshal for the event in recognition of her long-standing support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBT) issues.
She was joined by a cross-party group of MSPs at the start of the parade, including Green co-convener Patrick Harvie, Liberal Democrat Alex Cole-Hamilton, Conservative Jamie Greene and the SNP’s Christina McKelvie.

Ahead of the event, she said: “I’m proud that Scotland is considered to be one of the most progressive countries in Europe regarding LGBT equality and Pride Glasgow is a fantastic event that brings communities together and celebrates all that LGBTi people bring to Scottish life.
"As a society we must champion equality and fairness at all times and defend the progress that has been made.”
Alastair Smith, chief executive of Pride Glasgow, said: "We’re delighted to name First Minister Nicola Sturgeon the first honorary grand marshal of Pride Glasgow in recognition of her longstanding support of LGBTi equality.”
