it’s been a while since i’ve posted so here’s a little fun update as to what i’ve been up to

i love playing uno on mobile because not only am i playing uno and kicking ass i’m ALSO playing against a bunch of old people and their profiles give me a different kind of life

i mean just look

the roof over my head changes colors with the seasons

each season the tree outside shows fewer leaves

yet the tree grows in height, but alas, there’s no ladder

and no helping hands nearby to harvest the fruit.

so i lay, gazing high with a parched mind. longing for just a taste of the sweet nectar.

but the tree sheds fast and shoots higher than before

and alas, though i wish and i pray, there’s no ladder.

i didn’t even realize through my clouded mind

that the storm came and blew the house down

shingles of many roofs litter the streets

the sidings all ripped to shreds, tattered.

in this moment, i knew there’s few things i can do

except stack broken shingles and tidy up the whole matter.

perhaps in the ruins, i can find the supplies

and build me my own little ladder

life hack:

instead of asking someone to “do you a favor” ask them if they are interested in a “once in a lifetime opportunity”

ex: “would you happen to be interested in a once in a lifetime opportunity? that’s right i’m offering you a no fees no hidden expenses round trip to the upstairs bathroom to kill the cockroach hiding behind the shower curtain AND if you take this offer you might even be able to get something you desire in return”
