down her spears, her hands coated in it.
there was so much of that stuff in those
nasty brats called humans, wasn't there?

The absence of emotion upon the child's
death didn't surprise her-- NOTHING did
anymore. The EXP, once merely a minor
ABSTRACTION to the fish, now weighed
upon her shoulders, her burden alone to
carry. The air was thick with the tang of
blood, and the soul quivered as she sent
it off to ASGORE.
Only now that the deed was over and done
with did she ALLOW herself to fall to her
knees, slumping over the remains of the
child. She hardly registered the time, nor
the SKELETON approaching her. Shifting
slightly, she uttered the name of the other
monster.

〉〉ACT: CHECK - 02
// ; Headcanon 02: Undyne’s EXP/LV is abnormally high for a monster due to killing three of the six human souls (those three being the dark blue, purple, and yellow souls). She has also dusted almost all of the more destructive problem monsters, of which there were plenty back when she first was appointed. The number has thinned out a lot since then.
As an addendum, there is a stigma of having high EXP/LV in the Monster Kingdom, so Undyne is generally not very well-liked by the adults of the kingdom.
Finally, though the items belonging to the yellow soul are found in Hotland, Bratty and Catty are said to have gotten them from the garbage dump. This explains why Undyne is ‘credited’ with the yellow soul’s death. //

The human looked STRONG-- she'd have
to be careful. She had no interest in doing
harm to him, in all honesty. All she truly
wanted was to get home, as she suspect-
ed this was not HER Surface, wherever
she was.
❝ Thank ya... ❞ she uttered, a little bit
SURPRISED at the human's lack of a
reaction to her, compared to others an
encounter ensued with. It was oddly re-
freshing, truth be told.
❝ I'll try. 'M not 'urt, if tha's what you're askin'. ❞
What a way to start off his morning. What was- Who was? His first thought was ‘homunculus’, but, that didn’t fit. They all looked at least vaguely human. So, then… Chimera? That would explain the appearance and the ‘greeting’. From what he knew, chimera had plenty of reason to live in fear. He could relate.
“–I won’t.” He began slowly, raising an eyebrow at the stranger. Being empathetic did not mean being stupid; she could still be a threat. Best ere on the side of caution.
“As long as you keep your distance. .. Are you alright?”

Oh, how the MIGHTY fall. It appeared that
truly was doomed to 𝓭𝒆𝓪𝓽𝓱; t'was tragic,
really. The fish's rage began to bubble in-
side her. She wanted to punch something,
feel the p a i n that told her she was ALIVE--
Her rage boiled forth in the form of stinging tears.
" Just-- hh-- give me a moment, " she
requested of the deity, proceeding to let
sobs wrack her body. It took a bit to get
her FURY at the thought of leaving all of
those she l o v e d behind out of her own
system. Soon, however, she gave in.
She knew, oh, she KNEW, that d e a t h
was not something she dared defy, not
like THIS, at least.
" It's funny... I always thought'd I'd die
kicking and screaming. But I think... "
" I think I went out with a SMILE. "
❛ —NOT READY? well too BAD , buddy !! ❜
&&. thus he CACKLES with laughter along with a MENACING grin in a AMUSING tone . GAZE kept
to the MONSTER . oh ? what’s THIS? such words come out of the FISH , to tell him that SHE wasn’t
ready ti go just YET? oh , how UNFORTUNATE—– for the deity couldn’t FIND a single ounce of
CARE . didn’t she know that DEATH would take them when their time was UP , regardless if they
were willing to COME or NOT . oh mortals , so YOUNG yet so F O O L I S H . how disgusting.
&&. once AGAIN , he looks at her , a hint of SYMPATHY flashing upon his VISAGE . no . he
COULDN’T. he shouldn’t .

This was NOT happening.

senseofhumerus:
“I’m…”
Well, that was one he hadn’t heard before. “Heh heh heh, y’know, that getup you’re in is pretty odd to me, too. Things around here are probably gonna be pretty different than what you’re used to if you think I’m strange. Guess that kinda makes you a fish out of water, then, huh?” A wink. “Don’t worry about it.“
Though he wanted to get out of the cold as quickly as possible, Sans was hesitant to employ the use of one of his shortcuts. After all, Undyne was probably confused enough to begin with- would it really be smart to make it that much worse? At least the walk to Grillby’s didn’t take very long, though he paused for a moment upon reaching the door.
”Uh. This is probably going to come as a surprise to you.” The skeleton warned. At least with the weather being as bad as it was, the chances of the building being crowded were slim. “You might not recognize a lot of things in there. Just stick with me, okay?“ Hoping that was enough of a warning, Sans opened the door and stepped inside.

to Sans as they walked. She was clinging, in a way,
to the scrap of familiarity in this strange Snowdin. A
FROWN crossed her face as he spoke. It looked as
if he knew more than she did, but then again, Sans
usually knew more than he LET ON.
" Hmph. S' it really tha' bad? " A pause. " I guess...
S' unsettling. I don' like it. " Her whirlwind thoughts
were INTERRUPTED when Sans gave her warning,
and she nodded and followed the skeleton.
Even bracing herself for the sensory OVERLOAD
she received upon entering Grillby's, she truly was
overwhelmed with all the noise from the patrons, as
well as the food smells she couldn't quite RECALL.
In spite of the anxious tightness there in her chest,
she drew herself up to her full height. She was up to
whatever challenge was coming. Unflinching words
slipped out of her lips, with a COMMANDING tone.
" Wha' am I smelling, sah? "
