straight up not only is moralizing appearance shitty because people in your life will find out that you think they're ugly, it's also a suuuuper easy stepping stone to racism because a lot of features the zeitgeist deems "ugly" are features often found in marginalized groups.

I'm curious, how do you know some of these are scams? One of the was posting pretty realistically like a Palestinian or supporter thrmmmm
but you seemed pretty sure it was a scam. How do you figure this out? I'm not necessarily questioning your judgement I'm just curious what your method of determining which fundraisers are scam or not? Like I said, nor doubting you , just curious about your methods. Would help me as well... I never know which ones are legit so thank you for compiling that list!!!!
Which one did you think was convincing? Lemme guess? It was the one that had google translated Arabic in the bio?
Also I've said it about a hundred times and I know you're a long time follower. I don't post the reasons I can identify a scam because it'll make them better at getting away with it. Another user that goes by @kyra45 has compiled a list of identifying features of these scams pretending to be Palestinian, which I entirely object to, and now people like you who aren't Arab and who aren't Palestinian and who haven't been keeping up with this are being fooled by them because they know how to look more legit now.

As more bodies found, UN’s Turk ‘horrified’ by Gaza mass graves reports
UN human rights chief calls for independent and transparent inquiry after Palestinian authorities uncover hundreds of bodies at hospital.
Volker Turk, the United Nations human rights chief, has said he is “horrified” by the destruction of Nasser Medical Complex and al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip and reports of mass graves found in and around the hospitals amid Israel’s war on Gaza. In a statement released on Tuesday, Turk called for independent and transparent investigations after Palestinian authorities said this week they had recovered hundreds of bodies at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis following the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the southern city earlier this month. “Given the prevailing climate of impunity, this should include international investigators,” Turk said, noting that hospitals are entitled to special protection under international humanitarian law and called “the intentional killing” of civilians and detainees a war crime. As search operations continued on Tuesday, civil defence crews said they had recovered at least 17 more bodies, bringing the total so far to 310. Reporting from the nearby city of Rafah, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud said the bodies that were being retrieved included those of children, women, medical staff, wounded people and patients, according to Gaza’s Civil Defence. He added that medical staff and evacuees who had managed to leave the hospital before the Israeli army’s withdrawal had described scenes of “horror, mass killings and arrests to the point the entire hospital turned from a place of healing into a massive graveyard”.
[...]
Zainah Haroun, a spokesperson for Al-Haq, an independent Palestinian rights organisation based in the occupied West Bank, said what was needed was “a proper investigative mechanism” to be given full and unrestricted access to the Gaza Strip as a whole, including the sites where mass graves have been uncovered. “Most of the information that we’re getting at the moment is from incredibly brave Palestinian journalists who are reporting these horrific atrocities on the ground and are also being targeted by Israel,” she told Al Jazeera.
[...]
Turk, in his statement, condemned a series of Israeli strikes on Rafah in the past few days that killed mostly children and women, repeating his warning against a full-scale incursion on the overcrowded area of 64sq km (25sq miles), where more than 1.4 million Palestinians have been forcibly cornered. “Every 10 minutes, a child is killed or wounded. They are protected under the laws of war, and yet they are ones who are disproportionately paying the ultimate price in this war,” Turk said.

Please don't forget Armenians
Today is Armenian genocide remembrance day. On april 24, 1915 started mass deportations of hundreds of Armenian intelectuals and community leaders, who were (most of the time) eventually killed. Armenian women and children were systematically r//ed and forcibly converted into islam. There were more than 2 milion Armenians in ottoman empire prior to ww1, 1,5 milion of them were viciously killed. Three millennia of Armenian civilaziation in eastern Anatolis was fully destroyed. Turkey today refuses to acknowledge genocides of christian minorities in early 20th century.
Do you know that mass ethnic cleansing of Armenians in ottoman empire inspired Lemkin to coin the term 'genocide'?
Last year in september azerbaijan allied with turkey initiated a war against Armenia. More that 5000 Armenians were murdered, thousands of Armenia families had to live their ancestrial land to not get murdered. There are hundreds of vids on internet where armenian p.o.w.s are tortured. Recently azerbaijan opened a "museum" displayind dead or dying Armenians and kids were allowed to visit it.

“Losing my father means losing everything!”
Dr. Sarah Ghalayini, who asked for this video of hers to be shared, is a survivor of the brutal siege on Al Shifa Medical Complex during which she reported, despite her terror, on what was happening. She, like all healthcare workers in Gaza, is the definition of a hero. The support her GoFundMe received seems to have made her father very happy, but just when hope was on the horizon, his life was taken.
This is the pain, the unbearable grief, that Izzr431 inflicts daily. We can’t let ourselves become used to witnessing this grief that our politicians and corporations are complicit in creating. We need to sit with it, and act to stop the source of it.
Go to Dr. Ghalayini’s fundraiser below or @saraaghalayini on IG and show her and her grieving family some love. Go to her profile and post some words of support too.
Repost from @saraaghalayini
