kuri was love at first sight (corny bleck) and aubrey started falling for her after like an embarrassingly short month or two once he got over how weird she was..........they got married after like 5 years

they were still getting to know each other by the time she moved in

#embarrassing bc she is like the opposite of his type and quite honestly. did not like her very much at first #she was off-putting .................but it grew on him....... #also embarrassing bc before kuri he had spent like idk 4 years of just sleeping around and building an image off of never wanting a serious #relationship or being tied down. but he is stupid and she is too strange to ignore

Does kuri have any specific diagnoses?

She has disinterested psychiatrist blanket statement anxiety and postpartum depression. And if you want to get really into it she has cough variant asthma and at one point breast cancer

#she only acts like That because she was raised by a sociopath #and was very very sheltered #and i don’t think there’s really a Diagnosis for that #i don’t think you can really diagnose stupid either #I’ve always wanted her to be hard of hearing but idk anyone close to me who is which makes me not feel confident enough to make that canon

She hasn’t had a job since she was 19 and only got it out of pity, she wants to take a course or online school but has never been good in school, and honestly i wouldn’t even consider her a stay at home mom either LOL

When Aubrey retires they buy a roller skate shop and ideally by then shes normal and brave enough to be assistant manager lol

Iirc Aubrey was always kinda…silly. As a kid and comes out as gay in like middle or high school before opening up to casual sex with women before deciding he was attracted to women too

Kuri was teased as a kid by her father for allegedly having crushes on male classmates which made her so upset and angry that she decided that she Didn’t even Like boys and inadvertently found out what a lesbian was, e-dates one girl for like 4 days in highschool, swears up and down she is a lesbian and then catches feelings for Two Separate effeminate looking men (one being Aubrey) and realizes she maybe does like boys a little if they look like girls. She never comes out socially as either lesbian or bi at any point though but Aubrey has an incredibly reasonable suspicion

Rumi is trans and doesn’t label her attraction and Evan is cishet, Dylan is…something but i forget. I think he’s also bi

i love kuri n aubreys story so much !! this is going to be a big boy ask sorry but there is so much i am curious abt :0 like what inspired u to create em n their stories, as well as like their personalities n such? what’s their fav/least fav things about each other? have they ever considered separating? is there anywhere i can find a full run-down of their story besides ur art? i know kuris issued but does aubrey have anything going on? also, where can i find out more abt their kids?

1: Kuri and Aubrey are like the vestigial remains of the fursonas we had when we were 11 who have completely changed overtime but the majority of their personality traits and experiences still mostly reflect our own (but they don’t reflect Us if that makes any sense)

2: Aubrey is obsessed with how endearingly stupid she is and Kuri loves that he doesn’t care how long it takes for her to understand something If At All and is very patient with her. Kuri doesn’t like that he still makes reckless choices with his career and Aubrey isn’t allowed to dislike anything about her or i would mount him on my wall

3: Aubrey had a moment of severe weakness and considered leaving to Get Milk when Kuri decided she wanted to keep their first baby for like 4 seconds only because they both had previously decided that they were to be child free and he ****Really***** Did Not Want to be a father lol

4: tbh i don’t have any plans on doing any longform pure lore comics and I’m not really like a Writer writer so the only information you’re going to get on any of them is whatevers in their individual character tags or the worlds worst comic tag 😭 or whatever one off tweets i shoot off into the abyss

Also there’s this if you haven’t seen it its vague but it’s Aubrey lol
