If I’m such a “monster” then why do you not try to get away from me? Why would you bother keeping me against your will, aren’t you scared?

If I’m such a “horrible demon” then why are you not running away from me? Why are you talking to me as if you couldn’t be less worried about what happens to you next?

If I’m such a “selfish creature” then why do you give me anything at all? It’s almost like you need to hold something against me, if I’m selfish why should I care if I’m called that?

It’s almost like your manipulative logic doesn’t hold up to tiniest bit of scrutiny. So why are you lying so much? Saying one thing and then doing as if the opposite is true doesn’t show you in good light. It turns out I’ve been plenty useful, plenty valuable, capable, bearing you as a burden even, smart enough to see thru you, grateful enough to tolerate your bullshit even though you never gave me a good reason to, harmless to you to the point where you could take your shit out on me unbothered and unafraid, selfless enough to put away my very own well being for the sake of your needs, so why do you think now, after all, I would forgive you lying to me? hi, im an Its_Dev_ factive(20) (from KIER and DEV) who is a system with some of the "characters" i played in source (in tl they where just my brainmade headmates playing themselves as characters with very poorly hidden system implications -looks at minecraft manhunnt but everything is op-). people i share a brain with that we are aware of are Doug, Pierre, and Narrator, and these are the ones my friends were aware of i have been dating my Kier longer than ive kept track of and we both started dating Boosfer at some point. Boosfer was also with Yello, and my (sub)sys gk says Yello was with Batwee and atleast one other. none of this was like out out besides Yello and Batwee but it wasnt exactly hidden either. there are a few things that were like not even hinted at that im only comfortable sharing if any of this tracks looking for anyone in and around color crew who remembers this at all. please i miss you guys especially my bfs ;-;

The forgotten child of the dissociative community

Here’s a shout out to the people with USDD/UDD (unspecified dissociative disorder) because they brought it up a handleful of times with their professional (counselor, primary care doctor, psychiatrist, etc.) and they said “yeah that sounds like it could be you, let’s talk/explore it more” and then life happened and you couldn’t return so we are basically in diagnosis limbo (this post will explain USDD/UDD in its specifics, according to its description given by medical professionals)

So, what does this mean in laymen’s terms? Let me break it down, piece by piece:

this category applies to presentations in which symptoms characteristic of a dissociative disorder that cause clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning predominate

In simple English: This category applies to people who have signs and symptoms that are similar to other dissociative disorders (DID, OSDD, dissociative trances, DP/DR, etc.) that cause big problems (distress) when it comes to hanging out with friends or family, doing your regular job duties, or other important areas of your life (going to big social events, getting work done at home, getting schoolwork done, ability to function academically like take a test or quiz or write a paper, doing chores around the house, etc.)

but do not meet full criteria for any of the disorder category

In simple English: This means that while you do tick off specific signs and symptoms of a disorder, you might not have enouh (and/or you tick off MULTIPLE points from MULTIPLE disorders in the dissociative field) , it is not “enough” to officially diagnosis you with another dissociative condition

is used in situations in which the clinican chooses not to specify the reason for the criteria are not met for a speific dissociative disorder, and includes presentations for which there is insufficient information to make a more specific diagnosis (such as an emergency room setting)

In simple English: The proffessional (counselor, psychiatrist, primary care doctor, forensic psychologist, etc.) might not give a clear reason for why they chose UDD/USDD as opposed to another mental health condition, this is done in a healthcare setting (45 minute appointment, hospital emergency room where there is only enough time to see what’s wrong and the hospital isn’t properly equipped to handle severe mental health conditions, etc.) where the professional doesn’t feel comfortably (ethically, feel they don’t have enough information, etc.) to give a “definitive” diagnosis given the information they have.
