I work in a public library and the biggest issue we’ve come across is the rate at which lower income patrons have to get new phones, create a new email every time they get a phone to complete setup, and then don’t understand why they’re not getting their email. Patrons come in at times with a new phone every week because they’ve broken, get lost, or get stolen. Heaven forbid they put a resume or important documents in their email, because there’s absolutely nothing you can do, especially considering they barely know their passwords, if they even have the faintest idea possible

every genius who thinks mandatory two-factor authentication is a good idea should be forced to do tech support for a public library that serves a lot of elderly poor people
