Signs I'm slipping or tiny ૮꒰˵• ﻌ •˵꒱ა
Becoming more fidgety and restless (specifically kicking my legs)
Shorter sentences or smaller words...also broken sentences-
Higher pitched voice, stumbling over my words
Being easily distracted or lost in my thoughts
LOTS of giggles and smiles!!
STIMMINGGG
Oral fixation: Chewing stuff or putting my fingers up to/in my mouth
Being WAY more sensitive... (I've cried over water getting on my coloring page before)
Worser motor skills so it takes me a little longer to walk (I always feel super proud when I toddle though!!)
Needing my comfort objects like stuffies, my rattle, or paci...or else I'll whine and be sad
It being harder to understand big-kid things and responsibilities
More needy for attention and affection

I get very emotional and easily cry
I start to wrap myself in blankets
I bring my stuffies with me everywhere
I start to use "childish" language.

I watch childish shows (My little pony, Bluey, etc.)
I get giggly
I start to whine and make noise, but not actually talk

☆ 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬 ☆
- facetime - video call as often as possible and do activities like colouring together, watching a movie, playing a game.
- pictures - send eachother pictures of what you have done today or little selfies of your outfit or your stuffies and toys
- tasks - ask your little one to complete tasks for the day, like chores or eating up all their food or tidying away toys after its been played with.
- self care - make sure that they are taking care of themself especially if its impure regression, give them little affirmations and reassurance.
- rules - you and your little may have a set of rules, if you do some of the rules can be....
Drinking enough water
Eating all your food
Going to bed on time
Doing chores ect
- Reward chart - If your little one completes all these tasks with photo proof a reward chart can be good, like getting to stay up later or being able to buy a toy.
- bedtime- getting to sleep without a caregiver is hard but ask your little if they can assign a stuffie to be a caregiver stuffie so they can cuddle it when they miss you.
- voice notes - reading a bedtime story over voice notes or call can help your baby get to sleep, also talking about your day if you’re busy and cant call.
- gift giving- it can be good as long as you are both comfortable with it, sending gifts is a good way to feel close when you are far away,
Hopefully this helped a few people :))
